This was spoken by Alexander the Great seconds before he died. It was in response to the question of who gets his realm. There are more then enough last words and other notable quotes, feel free to post them here or discuss them.

I got it from the internets. It was also mentioned on QI recently.

It was probably something awesome like "Shit, forgot to carry the 2" or something, that would have given us Wormhole technology or something.

Billy the Kid's last words were "Who is it?". He said this to his assassin as he could not recognize him in the poor lighting.

yeah, but thats not the full story. he was shot from behind in a dark alley at night, Billy the Kid was unarmed at the time. if it was an 'assassin', he must of been a bad one, as he was drunk at the time.

meaning: they were scared of Billy the Kid's gun skills, and rightly so, thats why he was murdered in extremely unfair conditions.

I meant by assassin the person who ended his life, not necessarily a hitman.
