And a question about changes: when Citizen Siege will be released, will be creted a new Zulag (maybe Zulag 4) or will sub-forums be expanded?

We have drafted plans in Employee Lounge, but nothing is set in stone yet. All we know is that the OWF will be expanded to embrace Citizen Siege.

Oh dear, I've juts realised, There'll be shed loads more members. I think that's a bad thing, because part of the joy of having a forum like OWF is that most of the members know of eachother.

I was wondering this, thought it was a bit too far off to ask.
Hmm, since these are the official forums, I'm wondering if CS would get their own official forums, made by OWI. Owell, guess we can only wait and see.
And some new members would be welcome :) Sure there would be a swarm at first, but I'm sure it will be managable.

Oddworld doesn't even has it's own official forum.:p

In theory, this is merely an Oddworld forum that has lived on for many years successfully and receives all of the best of information. I think this has caught the most (if any for the other forums) attention from OWI alike. The only think that doesn't make it official, is that it isn't directly linked to the oddworld.com site and it's fanmade. Now that I cleared that up...

I would love to see a new forum on the board, since that could stir some stuff up for a while, as the forum hasn't changed it's general topics (in OD) since what, 2005? But I would guess the OWF army would have to be prepared for newbies. A barrel full of them. Oh the horror.

We are not the official forums of Oddworld Inhabitants. When they were affiliated with GT Interactive (later Infogrames and Atari) they had their own sub-forum on the company discussion board - but it was a far cry from OWF and it is no longer in existence. We are merely the officially sanctioned fan-forums.

As for a Citizen Siege forum, we currently have one located here ;)

We are directly linked to from the OWI website, but it's hidden away in Alf's Rehab & Tea. There are issues with making us their official discussion board - such as bad publicity, ownership, previous claims to income earned through publicity, etc. It is easier for them to rely on fans running forums based on hobbies and passion. That being said, we are graced with three previous OWI employees.

But can Oddworld Inhabitants intervene in OWF posting in threads? I know there were three OWI here: Alf Alf's assistant and bross. And I know Alf is the oldest Oddworld fan from England (I read it in the artbook) and so I wonder: is Alf really an OWI and was that member the odlest Oddworld fan?

Hmm, I didn't know that. I always thought oddworld.au.com was the one that led people to the forums. (which is linked to oddworld.com)

OWI can not intervene - we are privately owned.

Alf the Mudokon was named after the late Alfred Gamble, a fan of Oddworld, and the very first Fan of the Month.

They'll probably have a link to a brand new citizen ceige website. The Oddworld website is really for stuff about Oddworld the plannet.

I think that by the time the franchise officially leaves planet Oddworld they will re-create the website under the Oddworld Inhabitants company name, rather then just keeping Oddworld.

As Alcar said we're working on the CS expansion but since it won't be released for a while and OWI hasn't been in the news for ages there is no pressure on the matter. As the release date for the movie draws closer and about a month before TV ads start popping up you'll likely see a lot of new members moving in here and it will be around that time the expansion will be made fact. Just wait and see I guess.
