New year, new art thread. :)

If you wanna go back and look at my old stuff click here... but really, my art has improved a lot in the meantime, so don't really click it.


Anyway.
The first picture was a commission someone bought from me.

The second picture is rather one of my deeper arts. Attention! Dark art ahead! ;)

Well, I still need an idea for a character that is not too difiicult to draw for beginners. And I'm not good in this...

Yup, it's a girl.
I can't come up with a name for her, so I just call her the Girl With The Muzzle.

Long story short:
Oedis (the guy left) was an experiment to create a super-soldier, but they couldn't control him, so he was a "failed" experiment. Later, they gave him a job to catch an escaped gladiator, in exchange they would set Oedis free if he makes it. But they didn't. They put him back.


The machines that chain Oedis' hands is an idea of mine. I thought that there had to be something that bars him from escaping, which is easy with his fire-ice powers, I guess. So I designed something that actually absorbs his powers at any time he uses them.

When I drew it, I imagined Shadix (toad-like guy in the middle) making toasts with Oedis' powers. :]
Those are some of the secret happenings behind the scenes...

Okay, and this is a rather violent picture. It shows two scorpiontigers having a battle.
I designed them, too.

Oooo, I hope that doesn't stain! :/ Bet kitties would need a brush after that...Thats fantastic work Stranger's Maid! I love the unsettled dust around their paws, and the way you have done the blood and fur textures, nice!

Oedis is sweet looking, his story seems to be interesting too. That scorpiontiger battle is gruesome and awesome at the same time. Great details.

Currently, I'm working for a 5 page comic commission for someone. After one and a half weeks I'm finally done with the PENCIL works. Now I have to ink and color it. I'll show it when it's done. Just to let you know, I'm busy. ;)

And I am waiting them :D!!!

anyways...I didn't commented this comic yet on DA...The facial expressions and the backrounds are perfect! you did a great job on em! :) the only thing that looks a bit strange for me are the font legs :3 dunno why....maybe there's no problem with em, and I'm saying this only becasue I'm drawing em in a different way *shrugs*

Oh, and about the leg thing, I think the front legs look fine. Its the back legs that look a little distorted... you might want to get a ref of a tiger or a wolf to fix it a little bit. Other than that, I really liked it.
