Help, please.
I just switched to Munch for the first time and I'm in the area with the mines floating in the water. I have jumped through two holes that launch me into another area, and now I'm in front of a platform with a few of those monsters on it and a green arrow pointing upwards into the opening. I can't jump in to it, as hard as I try.
On a side note, am I able to save the Mudokons I left in front of the gate with Abe before I switched over to Munch later? |
I can’t think exactly where you are, and since my Xbox died I won’t be able to try and find it myself, so the only advice I can offer you is to keep trying. Try jumping from ‘swimstill’, try jumping while already in motion, and try from motion at different speeds. Try varying how hard you press the jump button; it’s analogue: gentle presses make small jumps, hard pressed make larger jumps.
Those Mudokons you left behind don’t need to be saved: they’re already Natives. |
monster? Hmm, well, can you be a bit more detailed? Like what level, in the wild or...? My brain is fried...Well, maybe its just some random glitch? They come and go, which is quite irritating.

I've never seen any significant glitches in MO. Can you tell us the name of the level so we can offer better advice?

No, the X, Y, B and A buttons are analogue as well.

I think Kyle is refering to the Hydroponic Vats, right after the area where you can control Munch for the first time in the game (Fuzzle Testing). The 'monsters' must be the Slogs around those walls which have an opening. These are marked by those small green arrows, indicating that you have to jump through them.
Appart from what Max said, there's nothing special about that part. At first, I also found it hard to make Munch jump in the right direction, but it only takes some practice. Hope that cleared it up. |
The level would be Fluoride Tanks, as the Hydroponic Vats don’t have mines in them. These monsters could be Slogs or Interns.
|
The monsters I was referring to are slogs, sorry I forgot the name.
|
Was it a sleg?
|
No, there are no Slegs in Munch’s Oddysee.
|
Those are Sligs he's talking about! Or did he mean Slags? Slugs perhaps?
|
Pause the game and tell us the name of the level (showing in above)
