Force a Blue screen of death {VISTA}
 

Go to run, type cmd, and type shutdown 15, and the system will flicker, do everything it should, until the last second.. it will get the BSOD!, Dont worry, harmless, wont come back unless you repeat the function again.

hmm are you sure it won't do anything bad?

It could do since it just powers your hdd off (usally you can hear the click of the read heads hitting the disk.. not good), although im sure that shutdown thing is another bug :p

You don't need to force the blue screen of death on Vista at all, it's more than capable of doing it for absolutely no reason on its own.
