Question on Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Do you get anything for saving all the Mudokons because it takes to long to save em all. ;)
|
Hey, M-M. It breaks down pretty much like this. I'm not sure what the exact cutoff is, but fewer saved Muds than about 50 results in the "bad" ending; more than 50 gets you the "good" ending; and all 99 gets you the same good ending plus a bonus. I can't say that the all-99 bonus is worth it if you are getting frustrated -- it's not more gameplay. I personally think that the biggest reward for saving everyone is just the satisfaction of having done it. But, at very least play for both the bad and good endings -- I thought the bad ending was a riot. :)

Thanks, but what is the bonus feature?

Help me, Lampion! Is this considered a spoiler? Just in case:
*********** AO Spoiler here! Go back! ******** You get a menu allowing you to watch any and all of the movies in the game. So, if you've played to both good and bad endings, it's nothing new, except for the fact that you can view on demand. |
I think you don't need to worry about spoiling Abe's games, although I recognise many new players don't know these games yet. :)
By the way, in addition to the movies menu screen, you get a new video sequence, featuring Abe and the Shrink (but it's only for the Playstation version). |
You know how you must mimic the modakans with the slinshot to pass, well, i heard you get a slingshot when you finish Abe's Oddysee with all the modakans saved!!!!!!!! :) :) :)
