Sorry guys, World's Over

EDIT: Ok video doesn't like me. Basically Duke Nukem Forever teaser trailer. Google it yourselves

OANST 12-19-2007 03:08 PM

No way in hell. I'm stocking up on bottled water and canned foods, that's for sure.

Strike Witch 12-19-2007 03:21 PM

Woo, Prey with a walking stereotype and toliet humour.

I waited since 1997 for THIS?!?

Mac Sirloin 12-19-2007 03:22 PM

His voice is annoying, but still, this kicks ass.

Nate 12-19-2007 04:23 PM

He looks like a pansy.

Leto 12-19-2007 06:47 PM

About fucking time. I've finished the GBA Duke Nukem about 3 times in the past 2 years.

His voice is very gay, however.

Strike Witch 12-19-2007 06:50 PM

1- The entire Grand Theft Auto series. Yep, even GTA 1&2 before the landmark GTA3.

2- Britney Spears entire career (would that we could make that go away).

3- Nine Legend of Zelda games, not counting remakes.

4- The entire Sims series.

5- Every Metal Gear Solid game.

6- An entire generation of consoles came and went - the PS2, the Xbox, and the Gamecube.

7- When Duke Nukem Forever was announced, there was no such thing as Google, eBay, or MySpace.

8- Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP all launched, and have all been replaced.

9- Every single English Pokemon game.

10- Every movie in The Matrix, the X-Men and The Lord of the Rings series.

Meanwhile these guys haven't managed to complete a single game.

Nate 12-19-2007 08:53 PM

Well, the thing is that they've nearly finished five or six games. After all, the game that they're working on now bears no resemblance to what they were working on in '97.

I'm going to hate myself for mentioning this but Britney's career technically stretches back to the Mickey Mouse Club in the early '90s.

While I think Duke Nukem is a hero of the past, an old relic from Windows 95 PCs and the Nintendo 64, I would be cool to at least see this game come to live sometime. I always enjoyed playing Duke Nukem if only because you could mess around in the multiplayer levels like no other multiplayer game at that time. Who could have known squishing people underneath elevators could be so hilarious?

They should complete this game and publish it but after that Duke Nukem should be left to die a lonely death.

Respect for old game music!

Godlesswanderer 12-22-2007 01:46 PM

I was hugely disappointed when I saw the trailer. I was expecting something epic but it just looks old. I'm hoping that they're going for a retro Duke Nukem look instead of trying to beat games like Crysis.

Havoc 12-22-2007 02:12 PM

Would be nice to have some background on why exactly we are shooting pigs and saving women. Then again, if they attempt to but a story in a game like Duke Nukem it will probably ruin the entire thing so I rather have that they don't.

Godlesswanderer 12-22-2007 02:37 PM

Sometimes I miss the early-mid 90s, back then games didn't need a story to be good. All you needed to know was these pig cops are trying to kill you and you need to kill them; and these women are stripping and you should be watching them.

Why? I love splatter, it is brilliant: I watched Hostel and Hostel 2 and many splatter films. This video is a few splatter and I like it.

Godlesswanderer 12-23-2007 01:24 PM

I can just imagine you being arrested for murder.

"What? I love splatter, it's brilliant!" *twitches*

abe is now! 12-24-2007 03:03 AM

I love blood and lacerated meat. These are my favourite characteristics of splatter films.

moxco 12-31-2007 12:24 PM

I rented this out for my now dead 64 once I liked the violence but the story was probably the worst ever.

skillyaslig 12-31-2007 02:23 PM

Noes, who is that guy? Never heard of him. He sound lame though. Would be interesting if mutated monsters ran around trying to steal your steriods all the time. He would be outta it
