secret area
 

I have found 26 of the 28 mudokons, the only place i could think is the barrel by the mines at the start of the game, i blew up the mines with a grenade, but no secret level when i go down behind the barrel? i am playing on a ps1

You have to crouch behind the barrel.

I have crouched behind the barrel, but abe does not vanish, i tried altering position slightly but no joy

it could be in the middle mine pit or the left mine pit if none of them work retrase your steps

I'ts the most right pit, an you have to crouch behind the barrel. try this, stand left of the barrel and crouch, the up again then 1 step right, then crouch again, then stand up again and do this till u find the secret :D

I had the same problem and what I think is that you missed the first secret in the game. when abe says hello, there is a barrel and go down that one. there are two muds in that secret.I think thats your problem.

wait a minute, are you talking about AO or AE, because I'm talking about AE. I'm wrong if it's AO. Sorry.

walk abe over to the middle barrel standing up then press down :p

Actually, in both games, there is a secret in the first screen.

There is a secret erea there.................I've recued all 28 mudokons in mudokons from repture farms in the beggining... That IS a secret.
