This is something that does not need to go Unknown.

I have stated it in my Journal and now I state it here to get it around.Some may say I might be pushing this to the limits,but honestly I don't care.An innocent pet was harmed...So I'am going to say what I want.

In my Area two Beagles were let out...And when they came back the results were not good.Here is the actual News article along with Pictures below.

A local family’s pet beagle was mutilated and left for dead, while a second dog escaped with lacerations after an apparent attack last Sunday morning.

“It is inhumane and I just can’t imagine anyone doing that to a living creature. I am just flabbergasted. I think whoever did this should be tied up and skinned,” said Janet R., owner of the dogs.

Neal R. said he had let the family dogs, both beagles, run loose in a rural part of their area last weekend after an earlier hunt. Neal said he last heard his dogs running in the back lawn just after midnight. He said when he went to feed his dogs Sunday morning, three-year-old Anne walked up bleeding.

Neal R. said when he first saw Anne he thought she had been hit by a car, but after a closer look he said it was clear someone skinned his dog alive. He said it looked the same as if a hunter would skin a deer.

“I can’t imagine who would do this,” Neal said. “I have had bird dogs for years and never had anything like this happen.”

Neal said Anne had her coat removed from the nape of the neck to the base of the tail and down to the nipple line, all of which was done while she was alive. The second dog, three-year-old Buttercup, suffered minor lacerations around the neck and shoulder before apparently escaping.

The Rodgers took their dogs to Bruce Lee’s clinic, where Anne had to be euthanized because of severe trauma and a lack of skin for grafts.

“By far this is the most extreme case [of animal cruelty] I have ever seen,” Lee said. “I was not prepared for what I had to see. This was a totally awful sight.”

Lee said over his 21 years in the veterinary business he has never seen a more gruesome case.

“How can this be OK?” Lee said. “The only reason someone would do this is out of extreme torture. The amount of torture involved is incomprehensible. It is a brutal and hideous crime, and I hope I never have to see anything like it again.”

If there is a good sentance for this kind of thing it's that the places should be switched. Example: Human beats dog. Dog beats human. See how they like it. And if a chinese guy wanted to kill a cat to stuff it later then lets see if he would want to be stuffed up.

all cattle in this country are killed humanely, with a bolt gun or fire arm, always at the head, into the brain, killing it instantly, with no pain. if anyone does not beleive that they do not feel pain when culled in this manner then let me tell you, i've seen many a Bovine animal culled while standing, and they are literally dead before they hit the ground, their legs tuck in and they fall. its the law to kill them humanely, luckily, DEFRA and other organisations ensure this.

once dead, they go to the slaughter house (in a normal situation) and are then skinned, etc.

this may differ in other countries.

Well, I am against killing any animal, but I wont flame people for doing in in a HUMANE way, with no pain inflicted on the animal. I think those bastards who skinned that beagle need to be skinned themselves, then see how they would like it. I cant believe someone would be able to do that! Must be sick in the head. You cant be normal if you do that to living creatures for fun.

if a cow calves badly, for example, and damages the nerves to its back legs (which is certainly not un-common amongst cattle), it will fall down, and will not be able to get back up. you then spend 2 or 3 days trying to get the beast to stand by helping it up using equipment, to no avail. when it is certain the poor animal will never be able to stand again (even with surgery), the knackerman is called to come and put down the animal, and you must wait a further 2 days at least, before he arrives.

meaning in total, the animal would spend at least 4 - 5 days just lying in the same place, in its own muck, susceptable to disease and infection. we would give it food and water twice a day, and we would roll the cow by hand a few feet away from its mess into fresh straw everyday, or sometimes move it to a totally new and clean location by rolling it into the bucket of the telehandler (JCB forklift) and shifting it that way, but its no easy job. a cow can weigh up to 800kg (almost a ton), thus the reason for rolling it, this puts more stress onto the cow.

for those thinking 'just let it live untill it dies naturally', its not as simple as that. last year when i was at a different farm, the farm boss was a lazy git, so when a cow went down and wouldnt get back up, it took him a week before he bothered to call someone to cull it. and by then she had lost a lot of weight, had formed a large lump (i dont know what it was) the size of a football on the side of her neck, and she couldnt turn her head. the herdsman thought enough was enough, and against the boss's wishes, decided to put the cow out of its misery himself (with a gun ofcoarse). but on the day he was going to do it, we found her dead. she had caught ceptosemia and pneumonia, and one had killed her off.

but if anyone thinks its kinder to leave it in its own shit for the rest of its life, rather than kill it and end its misery, then thats their mistake. British farmers are always portrayed in the press as being evil, torturous bastards, unkind to their livestock, but im gettin' pissed off with it now. we just do the jobs that noone else has the stomach or dedication to do, to ensure you get your milk for your cuppa' and your cerial, meat for your dinner, etc... then people turn around to you and declare that killing an animal for any reason what-so-ever is bad, un-just and wrong, and should not be done. that is extreme short sightedness. noone hears about the foreign chicken farmers that throw living male chicks straight into a turning mincer! and yet sell meat in this country!

i am in no way backing animal torture, because its sick. im just saying that putting an animal out of its misery in a humane fashion is the right thing to do. im not saying this to anyone in particular, just showing you the truth.
