Facked up search?

Well, title says most of it, but the search bar on this site is really dodgey, it keeps going to white screen and giving me oddworldforums.net/do=process, and locks up so i have to not search, is it a glitch or is it my PC?:fuzconf:

Havoc 11-26-2007 09:51 AM

moxco 11-26-2007 10:29 AM

It's happened to me.

Wil 11-26-2007 10:32 AM

It’s not happening to me, and I can’t imagine how it could work for some people but not others. Not unless there were some very weird code being used.

HHmmm... Double barreled shotgun tendencies, yes. ZeldaFan stop. :D

The search on the OWF has never worked for me so I doubt it's the browser. Definitely the computer because mine hates me and everything goes wrong on it.

Slig 7665 11-27-2007 12:03 PM

Its happend to me too.

ParamiteSurprise 11-27-2007 12:23 PM

Its probably because i have IE7 :|... *trys Firefox*

It happens on Firefox too..

skillya_glowi 11-29-2007 01:53 PM

I noticed that a long time ago. I tried searching on several different computers and none of them worked, so it's not my computer. We have Internet 6, BTW.

metroixer 11-29-2007 05:43 PM

I just tried it out, it works fine for me.

I have Firefox if it matters.

Nate 11-29-2007 08:40 PM

What do you mean by 'Search Bar'? Do you mean when you press the search button and the little dialog comes up or do you mean when you go to the Advanced Search page?

I've tested in IE6 and it works fine. Will test in IE7 next time I'm on a computer with that abomination.

Excuse me if I ask just now it but: can this error be the same that Havoc noticed 1 month ago?

I have IE7 too, but it works very good for me and I didn't find this error.

Oh well. This appears to be a mystery problem that won't be solved by our useless discussion. We'd best wait until Alcar gets himself some internet access somewhere in Olde Europe.

Alcar 12-06-2007 05:22 AM

It looks like it is only affecting searches using the drop-down menu. In the mean time, before I return from France, just use the the Advanced Search option.

Alcar...

Excuse me for the delay of this post, but why don't you post a screen? It would be easier understand the problem.
