Masseffect
Couldn't think of a great title, so has anyone heard of Masseffect (or Masterbet according to my extremly mature brother)?
If not, it's a science fiction action role playing game by bioware, set in the not so distant future, about a soldier who is the pinacle of the human race, and must save the galaxy from a race of machines that periodically wipe out the galaxy every 50, 000 years of all intelligent life (Looks like us humans are safe then). It's seems great, and to incorpreate alot of things desperatly needed in RPGs, like the convo. wheel. Supposed to be cinematic, but then again, so was Halo. So does anyone have this game (Even though it's not officially out) , or is interested in it? |
I'm gonna buy it, when it comes out. Right before I move to my new home :P. I'll be living amongst cardboard boxes for a while :P

Supposedly they have some of they best facial animation seen in a game so far. As in you don't have to, or need very little, unconscious suspension of disbelief when your brains don't recognise a character's face as being real. And, from what I've seen, I'm inclined to agree with them.

Valve will totally have better facial animations in HL2 Episode 3, you know, when it comes ou in 2048.

We already have a topic, but whatever. Really excited for this game, the combat looks great from what I have seen. Both GameInformer and OXM called it the best story in video game history. Period. Graphics are amazing. We might get a demo too, in a recent interview, they said they would really like to put a demo before release, now that it has been Gold for a while, they might be working on one. Can't wait, probably gonna pick up the prequel book tomorrow.

I've seen several trailers for Mass Effect, and the first ten seconds I started watching the first one, I was like, "OMFG TIS GAME = AWESUM LULZ." And it's not just an action game...the dialog looks incredible. And the graphics...hubba hubba.

I heard they dumbed down the animations becuase if it looked too real, it would look kind of odd and weird, due to our brain or something. Trailers look awesome though, I agree. Still don't have a 360, but pressuring my parents to let me get one, expecially for Masseffect. I mean, I've loved Biowares games, but hated the combat (JE was alright), but Masseffect looks like it's realy improved with the combat, and well, everything. Well, makes up for a KOTOR 3 at any rate. |
