How much Oddworldian do you own?

How many of the Oddworld games do you own? Two copies of one game only counts as one! I own 3, AO, MO and SW. I also have the book!

Do you have any oddworld merch? I wanna hear you brag about it.

Laser 11-04-2007 10:31 AM

i had MO and SW but now i just have SW :fuzmad:

;) not really a member who is an oddworld veteren

Hobo 11-04-2007 10:44 AM

Where's the none option?

And why the hell is this in off topic? *moves*

OddjobAbe 11-04-2007 10:56 AM

I've been purchasing Oddworld merchandise ever since Abe's Oddysee was released. I successfully got hold of a leatherback copy of the OWI Art book - it is very nice, but very delicate. I'm not one of those guys who get obsessed with Oddworld, but I do very much enjoy collecting merchandise. I like to stare at the Munch's Oddysee can for about thirty seconds while it rests on my lap if I have nothing to do. It is attractive. And I have something no-one else does - a fully functional paramite bot that falls over a lot, but is pretty good, though I am still unable to share that with you at this moment. It rests on my desk at work.

All four games, although my Xbox died, so I can’t play MO or SW. Then again, I have both the PS and Windows versions of AO and AE. I also have two copies of the art book (one hardback, one limited edition), the Movies of Oddworld DVD, Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus—The Movie on VHS, Music From Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath, Volume 1, the official walkthroughs, several posters, T‐shirts, stickers, Holiday cards, a whoopie cushion, Lorne’s and Sherry’s business cards, and so on. I had a list of it all, but I digilost it.

I used to get stuff off eBay, but then Cullen started using it.

Bullet Magnet 11-04-2007 11:27 AM

All the games and the hardback book. The essentials.

waaaaaaah 11-04-2007 12:19 PM

I have SW, although I want to buy the music for SW.

Oddys 11-04-2007 12:49 PM

I have all the games from the first days they are released.

Even AO and AE.

<- Hardcore Ancient Oddworldian. ;)

Jordan 11-04-2007 12:53 PM

I own all four games. AO and AE for the PS and the PC. And the Oddworld Art Book.

Alf Shall Rise 11-04-2007 03:41 PM

I have all games and the Oddworld Art Book...

metroixer 11-04-2007 03:49 PM

I own all 4 games, although AO is for my playstation.... Which broke.

Also my AE is with my brother who is in college at the moment, but I still consider myself a person who has it.

skillya_glowi 11-04-2007 04:07 PM

If I had the money, I'd buy all the Oddworld merchandise that exists. Unfortunately however, I only have Abe's Oddysee, Abe's Exoddus (copied from my friend's CD *COUGH*), and the softcover artbook. Owning MO would be pointless as I don't have a console.

*insert big sigh here*

I also have a rather large collection of articles from EGM magazine that I'd hunted down, even ones with only a passing mention of Oddworld. But of course that doesn't count D=

Xavier 11-05-2007 03:30 AM

Got the 4 games, hardcover and LE art of book, the AE movie, holiday cards, posters, t-shirts, magazines, stickers and other stuff...

abe is now! 11-05-2007 06:53 AM

I have AO and AE, but I was going to buy MO and my parents didn't want to do it, because I didn't have the XBOX and I cudn't buy it :fuzemb:.
Excuse me, I want to ask to the members who haven't any Oddworld game: why do you like Oddworld if you haven't any game?

OddjobAbe 11-05-2007 07:25 AM

They may have played the games.

Yes, but I think there aren't members here who haven't at least one Oddworld game.

AlienMagi 11-05-2007 08:40 AM

I have AO and AE.I wish soo much that I had MO and SW :(
Hobo don't you have any of theese gamez?

Chubfish 11-05-2007 08:59 AM

I have AO, AE and MO. I would of gotten SW but I just dunno why I didn't get it.

As OJA just said. If they've played them and like them, they can be a fan if they want. You don't have to own every single thing to do with it to be a fan.

Ok, you can think what do you want. But But I think everybody have to find all the Oddworld secrets for be a very good fan. A superficial fan is someone who playes sometimes and doesn't follow the game and following games of that series. A very good fan is someone who is totally dedicated at a game, at producers and the upcoming games.... like our moderators. I think I am a good fan.

I very much disagree with you. I don't think you should have to do anything like discover all the secrets to be a very good fan. I think that all you have to do is to know that you're a fan (not think, know). In other words, you just have to feel dedicated to a series to be a fan.

moxco 11-05-2007 11:37 AM

Thats what I/dictionary.com was trying to say.

Ok, ok, ok. Everybody hate my opinions. But I think OddjobAbe, I am not in this forum because I played two or three times an Oddworld game. What do you think about being a good fan?

OddjobAbe 11-05-2007 11:41 AM

Apologies MoxCo, I didn't see your post ;)

EDIT: Apologies, Abe Is Now, you only just posted before me
What I think about being a good fan? Exactly what I wrote previously. I don't hate your opinion, I merely disagree with it. You're entitled to your own opinion, and I accept that.

I want to be the best oddworld fan :D!!!!! I'm doing exactly what I wrote in my previous post. excuse me, but I can't stay where I am now...

AlienMagi 11-05-2007 11:52 AM

My gosh... Can we stop about this and talk about 'how many oddworld games do you own?'

OddjobAbe 11-05-2007 11:54 AM

What? It's short debates like that that makes the forums interesting. You can't have a discussion without having a disagreement somewhere along the line. It's absolutely fine just as long as it's not off topic.

AlienMagi 11-05-2007 11:58 AM

Yes yes go ahead but aren't you finished now?

OddjobAbe 11-05-2007 12:01 PM

Yes, we are finished with our short but interesting debate.
