Barracks won't open!
 

Ok I was playing Abe's Exoddus saving everyone:fuzcool:when i got to Fecoo Depot(part where you pick either Boneswerkz or Slig Barracks) The doors to Slig Barracks just wouldn't open! It was like I had already been there but I hadn't.:fuzconf:I had just used the cheat to go to any level and did the War Room. I tried several times to load a game and get to Feeco Depot and open that door but it didn't work. So i missed every Mudokon there. Has this ever happened to anyone before? And if so is there any way around it?

Ok, perhaps I know what is happened: you entered in the Slig Barraks door, but you didn't enter in the employee door, with a yellow cartel. If you didn't enter in that door, enter and go alone until a lever. Pull that lever and back to the door. Then you can enter in the Slig Barracks door. I think this is the problem.

But it isn't. I couldn't get hrough that one either but thank you for offering help. They were both closed.

You can enter before in the Bonewerkz, if you didn't it. Or it's possible (I hope not) that your saved game is ruined, or it's pissible there is an error of reading... Anyway try to enter in the Bonewerkz.

Yeah I played the rest of the game through already it's just all the ones I could have saved. It just wouldn't open not even after i went through Boneswerkz. It just acted like I had already gone through Slig Barracks but without any rescues from there. I think there was just a serious error. Thank you for all your advice it's a very good thing i saved nearby.:D I just wanted to know if anyone has ever expirenced this before and if they got around it.

did by any chance you finished the FeeCo Depot Office Stage, the one with Aslik?

Yes after i finished boneswerkz. Oh and thank you all for your advice and ideas.

that is definatley an odd problem. did it say you had rescued any muds from the barracks?

Oddey, you can use the cheat of the levels and finish the Slig Barracks and then finish it. Then you can return and see if the doors are open. I don't know this problem, I'm sorry if I can't help you.

no it said i didn't rescue any.
abe is now: I don't have the ps version of the game so i don't have the all levels cheat unless you mean the one you use at the main menu. I thank you all for your help and advice.

I know but before i could get in then i had to do bonezwerkz. And yes I DID finish it, as a matter of fact I finished the rest of the game. Next time please read it a little more properly (no offence).

So, I'm sorry, but you have to reset the game, if trying much time, you can't enter in the Slig Barracks

Don't worry I was kind of planning to do that anyways I just need to find a good time thank you very much abe is now!

I can't understand why sometimes the game has a bad reading and resetting the console the problem doesn't disappear. I'm sorry for your problem. But I think you are a good Oddworld player and so yuo will restart the game and you will arrive at that point.... and problem will not appear :D!!!!!

although...if it still was closed after you start the game over, then buy a new AE cd. o_O

I think everybody here is a good Oddworld player. Otherwise he could not be in this forum. Anyway good luck for your new game. I hope this problem will not appear. Otherwise I think your CD is break. I hope this isn't the problem.
