My concept screens
So several weeks ago I foun an Interesting Half-life modification, that convert 1st HL into a sort of side-scroller, so I've made up my mind to make a small Oddworld modification that will be based on this mod. Now I'm on stage of making 3D models, weapons and attempting to make some sort of a gamespeak option. Here are some background images I made (frankly speaking they're intended for Paul's future game editor). I don't know when I'll be able to complete this because I'm basically have only onу day-off but I hope this all won't be for nothing.

The plot is based on that Abe's new mission is to shut down one of Magog Cartel's major powerplants so that would seize most of glukkon facilitties on about half of Mudos. |

No, Paul does nothing with my screens. He is writing (programming) a set of utilities to edit Abe's Oddysee, and finally he wants to incorporate them into a level editor. After he finishes this work I'm going to use his utilities/editor to make my AddOn for AO. For further info on Paul's future level editor, tools etc., see the thread "lvl files" in general discussion. Paul has already made sevral good tools to extract resourses from AO *.LVL and *.CAM files

All the screens shown here are from different levels I've already made, I'just don't want to reveal to much before the work is complete. Basically I'd like to mention that this time Abe is going to destroy a major industriallist powerplant. As you remember many of Glukkon plants were powered by boilers, such system prooved itself to be unhandy, dangerous and unprofitable, so they desided to back up the powersources of their fascilities with a network of powerlines and build several major powerplants.
The action begins in Monsaic Lines, then you go to Paranomia, where you need to sabotage a newly-built power relay, then you will visit Scrabania and try to infiltrate a Powerplant. Also you'll visit several new locations such as the hydrodam, major power relay in an industriallized area and a steel manufacturing plant. Also I'd be glad if someone invents a name draws a logo for an Electric Power Company and Steel Factory. |

So I've made some more screens but I'll not post'em for a while, because the work is in progress. Also I need some "engine" to work with. As for now, I'm working with half-life's. The only problem is that I'm very short on time and at the same time I make a half-life mod based on mix between "Alien" and "Starship Troopers" movies.
