Oddworld.com site is down?
 

Maybe it's just for me but if you haven't already guessed by the title, Oddworld.com is currently unavailable! Could this mean that they a finally going to update the site?

This is the message a get when I try and visit the site:

This site is currently unavailable.

If you are the owner of this site, please contact us at 1-480-505-8855 at your earliest convenience.

I sure hope this is the update we have all been waiting for

No, it's worse. That is GoDaddy's phone number for Billings & Payments.

Well, the site is basically unused, I'm not surprized they haven't payed.
But who is GoDaddy?

Looks like OWI have forgotten about it completely if they've stopped paying for the space o_o.

Oh wow. If they forgot to pay the bill, they must really be working hard on thier projects.

It does seem that way as the oddworld.com domain doesn't expire until 2016. Why anyone would choose to host on GoDaddy is beyond me, and all logical thinking.

All this infomation about why the site is down has been gathered very quickly, impressive. Maybe they don't want GoDaddy to be their site host anymore (and who can blame them?). Maybe they didn't forget to pay the bill, maybe they didn't pay it intensionly? I dunno how you guys know all this stuff but im sure you'll figure it out

Yes, excuse me, I was kidding! I only understand nobody use oddworld.com and so Oddworld Inhabitants didn't pay something... I don't understand what didn't do OWI. And who is GoDaddy and what does he do? Do you know it?

GoDaddy isn't a person. It's a website hosting company.

I think it is just an update, because I don't think they would forgot about their site :)

As AbeX300 so eloquently informed us, it seems the issue has been resolved.

From the looks of things, nothing about the site has changed what so ever......:fuzsad:

Just when it looked like something was going to happen to give us more insight on what OWI is up to, everything suddenly goes back to normal...

I'll be expecting news of CS around December and the new year. Who knows, we might even get a post card from them.

But it's all just a big bag of 'maybe's, 'I hope's, and 'what if's. I'm hoping for him because by the time I found the site, I missed everything, and it was already incative.

I could imagine. They have to pull off making an entire CGI movie along with two other games, with all three being some what successful to get themselves have the ability to continue the business.

Maybe they did not see any reason to be in a rush to continue paying the host. Or maybe delivery of the money was delayed.

Yes, I hope it too. I started to search related Oddworld files, images, informations, "mysteries" and curiosity in oddworld.com. I loved it. I want it again!
And I hope it will be updated with new Oddworld movie and Citizen Siege informations.
