Yeah, so when I first joined OWF all those years ago, I chose nate_dog_woof as a user name because I couldn't think of anything better. Truth be told, I never really liked it all that much. So now I've decided to do something about it.

In the interest of clarity, I'm not changing it to my first choice (thorn) but instead just shortening it to 'nate'. Haven't decided on the capitalisation yet.

Hope that's not too confusifying.

Keep it capitalized. User names look better when they're capitalized.

As if I didn't have enough to remember, now I've got to mind that "nate_dog_woof" is now "Nate". This is more confusing than the rechristening of Alphascrab!

I, for one, liked the name "nate_dog_woof", it (for some reason) made me think of The Foo Fighters. The Foo Fighters are cool.

Yeah, "Nate" sounds better.

Good thing I changed. I loathe The Foo Fighters.

Nate sounds a whole lot better. And easier to say too.

I always thought of it as "I'm Nate. My Dog's name is Nate. So I'm Nate. A dog. Woof."

Or something.

Have you heard there new song, The Pretender? It's excellent. Anyway, since the day I joined I had always thought you were a Foo Fighters fan (for some strange reason that I cannot recall), now I have closure.

I cannot understand why anyone would want to change their user-name to their nickname, fourtunatly Salamander has no possible nick name (which I can see.)

Months ago I thought of you as Nate_dog_Woof, but only recognised you by your Avvie, so I couldn't care less.

I also go by avatars more than names, so name changes aren't that drastic, especially since we all know you as Nate (well, most of us).

To Nate Dog Woof- Don't change your name, dude. I hate to tell you this but just having it as Nate makes you sound gay. It's weird, I know. But it's the damn truth.

I tend to go by avatars too, and thus Slaveless' avatar change confused me.

Nath is the name of another member, who still pops by occassionally. And, yes, I did consider her before changing. And the postman.

Hmm, never seen her. Then again, I generally post in Off Topic and RPG only, as generally Oddworld is relatively silent, so if she's a semiregular there, I would have missed her.
