Bees...

I just wonder, where are bees in Scrabania temple, so i can try to pass bees into the scrab?
if u say there isn't any, MAKE SURE U ALSO USED THE DDCHEAT FOR ABE'S ODDYSEE.
if u used that and searched normally also, then how do i kill a scrab THE OTHER WAY?

Bees were not included in the Scrabanian Temple level. Scrabs can only be killed by other scrabs, death drops or falling rocks.

Beh, you can see the Paramites killed by the bees... Do you like it?

IAmHeavy 10-06-2007 05:19 AM

no cuz now it's getting old with that paramite thing. although i do love them getting squashed ;)

but i wish i see the scrabs die from bees.
AND IT'S POSSIBLE TO TAKE A SLIG INTO THE BEES AND GET STINGS AND DIES ;)

one thing I think is funny about bee's is that internaly they're called wasps, which is more logical since bee's die after using their sting

I like only two things about the bees: the frist is the honey in Paramonia, where it fall down and Elum eats it.The second is when you have to cover the beehive with the rock in the Paramonian temple.

Only honey bees die when they sting, as they are the only bee species that have barbed stings. They are also called Wasps in The Art of Oddworld Inhabitants, and they have a groovy, scary design, but wasps don’t produce honey, so they are more likely bees.

This is all assuming Oddworld bees are Earth bees, but it is taken that Earth taxonomy cannot describe Oddworld’s creature. Birds with breasts indeed…

It is quite possible that these bees do dies after stings, we just can't see it. Still, I think it is unlikely that Oddworld bees have barbed stings.

Science Factoid: the barbs evolved specifically for stinging mammals and birds, since leaving the venom sack behind will make the bees' stings much more potent, a valuable asset against such larger creatures. The original purpose of the sting- use in combat against other bees- is unchanged. Bees are able to safely remove their sting from the chitinous exoskeleton of other bees.
