A few suggestions

The following may seem a little small and unnessersary but I thought it worth while to suggest them anyway.

Firstly, when I upload somthing it always takes time (most likely the fault my my evil computer) and I never know whether it's still uploading or if it's just frozen. Mabey if there was something to display the progress like mabey a progress bar or something it would be helpfull to see 1: if the upload is still working, and 2: how much longer it's going to take.

The second suggestion I have is a spelling/grammer checker on the window where you write posts. I've been getting a lot of complaints about terrible spelling and grammer telling me I make the forum look scruffy. I can't make my spelling or grammer any better than this I'm just no good at it but if there was an item in the posting box that did it for me there would be no problems and no one will be able to complain to anyone else that their grammer or spelling looks bad.

My Internet browser (regular Internet Explorer) has a spell check function, I use that for all of my posts. You could do the same.

I can't find it. How do I get it to display?

Firefox has the same utility. Either way, have a good look through the options.

I have internet explorer 6 and there apears to be no such tool anywhere.

Hey look! There's a spelling button on the post screen now!

(was that there before or has my suggestion been used?)

I believe that it's IE 7 that has the spell checker. Get Firefox.

No, IE 6 can have it, it just needs to be downloaded. When I clicked on the new spell-check button when posting that last bit my computer requested the download and now I have it in my tool bar. But I prefer it in the post screen.

1. Progress bars are hard to input. If you want to upload something use a proffesional site like MegaUpload or PhotoBucket.

2. It would probably be best to get IE 7 anyway. It's got newer features than IE 6 and the Spell Check is probably better.

IE 7 is the newest one with the tabs isn't it? That one don't work with windows 98.

You see what I mean about most programs not working with Windows 98?

Carnix 08-18-2007 11:27 AM

Other than IE 7 I haven't come across any other programs that don't work just because I haven't got 2000 or higher (discarding games, but I haven't got any disk space left for them anyway).
