Favorite villain that you hate to love.
LAWL TWIST ON ORIGINAL TITLE.
Doesn't matter what its from, Vidja gamez, Books, or oother media. EDIT: Iam gonna consider the fact that people hate me the next time I try to make a thread. |
I always find Bastards to be like-able characters, but half the time bastards are protagonists , not villains (ie, House, Gene Hunt, Jeremy Clarkson :p, Blackadder), however, one guy comes into mind when I think of Bastard Villains, Ben from Lost.
He started off as a good character, because he was a cocky bastard at the start of season three, but he's even better now, purely because he's a Psychopath by the end of the third season. I suppose Q of Star Trek although he's not really a Villain, he's just a bloke with Godly powers who like to piss of Picard. Darth Vader and the Emperor are also fantastic villains. |
Voldemort.
Seriously. |
Yes. You have to admit the guy has class. Plus the final showdown in HP7 is classic.
|
No question, though Kastere being molested by old and not so tasty? Come on...
Though my sister was joyful to see someone finally called 'Bitch" in those books :D EDITED BY MOD |
Major spoilers in above post. Edit plz.
Not that i give a fuck, i hate harry potter. But if I'm not allowed to spoil it no one is. |
:
Actually, If you hadn't done that, my friend (Playing games on the computer with me) Wouldve had the ending ruined for him, so good show. Still, I don;t thank PV and I have a huge conflict going right now, why not choose the Closet Pastafarian? Or the Hypocritical Evangelist Nut. |
:
Maybe Mojo is bitter about my COMPLETELY JUVENILE comment about the dutch. Or Nate has a twisted sense of humour, whatever. |
I thought you edited it the second time. 'twasn't me.
|
Was it you the first time? Because that makes a tad more sense...
I can't think of anymod who might be bitter. Also, sorry to double post. |
I agree with Voldermort, and Big Brother, altough *spoiler* technically he doesn't exist, or he could, but I got the jist that he was just a figure created by the government.
I liked Sauron too, untill he turned into a giant eyeball, Molluck was awsume though. |

Kazuo Kiriyama from Battle Royale.
Best. Villain. Ever. |
Nghughg-GOO.
SOUNDS LIKE A VILLAIN FROM A JAPANESE GAME. AND YET I AM NOT ENRAGED. MUST BE A REALLY COOL VILLAIN, HUH? |
He isn't from a Japanese game, he's from a Japanese book. And a great one at that.
And he most certainly is. After all, who can beat a genius 15-year-old sociopath who murders his friends, and goes on to kill 11 of his classmates in a free-for-all, government enforced survival program? No one, that's who. |
Best villain ever, huh? Gee, I don't know who to pick. There are so many villains that are awesome, although I'd have to say Dracula.
|
Cobra Commander.
He's so SPECIAL. <3 |
I meant to say Dracula, but Castlevania dracula-yes, I am that geeky.
I should have said "Japanese Media". Whoops. Are you tlking about Death Note? Thats the only Manga I can bear to read. Oc rourse, when the dubbing hits that'll all be over. |
If you read Death Note, you'd know that he wasn't from that. He's from Battle Royale.
|
Have you read the BR Book? It explains alot about Kiriyama, and I don't think he's a "villain". He was just smart and slightly psychotic. :)
"The Duke" from Moulin Rouge [although not really a villain] is hilarious and rather evil. <3 - Rexy |
I most certainly have. I've read the novel, the mangas, and watched the movies. I thought that by now everyone would have realize that, given my constant postings of praise for the novel :p.
And he wasn't psychotic, he was sociopathic. Sociopathy isn't a form of psychosis, but a supposed mental irregularity that causes a person to act in antisocial ways that usually involved harming other individuals either physically and mentally in order to feel excitement or a a kind of superiority. As for him not being a villain, I do agree with you for two reasons: 1. Kazuo's condition was caused by an car accident that made him unable to feel any human emotion. Plus, nobody ever told him of the accident, so in a way, he's just an innocent person who had something dreadfully unfortunate happen to him and as a result did not know what he had to live for. That is, until he was placed in The Program. 2. Everyone was forced to kill one another anyway, so even if he had been "normal", he would have either been forced to kill others to survive, or die. I suppose that he's just a villain in the traditional sense, since he does go after the other students and murder a great deal of them. Although, I don't really believe he should be viewed as a villain given the circumstances of his situation. |
Before I forget...
I forgot. Megabyte, from Reboot. |
