Bullying; how to deal with it?
My point exactly. How do you deal with it? I’m being hassled a bit at the darn moment, seriously irritating I can tell you. Usually I would just sock the moron one, but I cant get into any more trouble:fuzemb:…Ugg…So how would you guys deal with it? Punch them one or just ignore it? I Dunno, I’m at a lost. And It is seriously effecting my moods, at home and at school...So I'm taking my anger out on people who dont Deserve it. :fuzemb:

Whoa,take it easy. You might want to report to the teacher, or whenever the jerks come along, just ignore them, just take your mind into a world where they don't exsist, that's what I do with this one moron who already tried to start a rivalry with me in Elementry school and thinks it'll continue in my new Middle School. But how can this moron tick me off when non-exsistant to me?

I vote tell, its what I did. though teachers in my school tend to say 'just ignore them' if its something 'small' like nicking my eraser. I hate humanoids.

The best advice I've ever heard, from an expert in the issue, is to teach the bullied kids to band together and stand up for themselves. Apparently 95% of bullying cases will be stopped if any third party comes up and tells the bully to stop. Plus, if kids are hanging out in groups, it's harder for the bully to overpower them.

Well, this depends, how old are you? If it's in middle school, just shrug it off and focus on more important things. What happens in middle school stays in middle school, and besides, once you're in the higher grades, the workload becomes so massive that hardly anyone will have any spare will-power to ridicule you. Even if you're called pussy for ignoring them and leaving, hardly anyone will remember and no one will even care a few years down the line.

He wouldnt dare hit me, for fear of what I would do to him. Its annoying as hell, I mean, doesnt he have a life? Now, I'm not miss popular, just average. Not to down rung, or up. Hes a loser, well I think so. Hes from Africa, and speaks with a stupid accent. I lost it today and gave him a good smack across the head with my English Book. Doesnt hlep that other people join in. they are cautious enough not to get to close to me though. At 'Lunch' I was milling around with Rowinia (a rather silly friend) and she had a drink bottle. Anyway he came out and she poured all the water over his head. That was funny. Still, the moron dosent seem to get the bloody message though.

My mother would always use that excuse when I was being bullied by a boy in primary school. I always thought it was ridiculous that someone who's supposed to like me would be so mean to to me. It's one of the exceptions to reverse psychology.
When I'm bullied, it's always verbal abuse (that's just because the bullier knows I'll sock 'em one if they try to hit me), so I just snap back a super-clever remark back and walk off. Example: Bullier: 'Hey, d'you shave your legs yet? I think you should shave your legs.' Me: 'D'you shave your moustache yet? It's getting pretty long.' |
I started ignoring it, and it went away. Well, it might not have, but by then I wasn't paying any attention. For all I know they were waving swords and pistols in front of me, but as I say, BM wasn't home.
