Pictures not loading properly...
 

Are any of you experiencing a problem where pictures aren't working on the forum? With me it shows loads of white squares where they should be.

They work for me, but for some odd reason it takes a very long time to load the pictures.

I dont know much about white squares exept that they they have four corners, four sides, and are, well, white. I did used to have a problem with images hosted on imageshack though, but I cleared that up by making my own account there.

Is it only certain images that wont appear or are all of them not working?

Pictures don't seem to work for me anymore. I have to attach them instead of using [img] tags.

Blame it on Mojo. Or OANST. =D

Where are images not working? Everything looks fine to me.

Or are you talking about Signatures, and placing images in Signatures? Because then yes, things have changed. You are forced to use the [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] vB Code.

Well they're not appearing everywhere basically. The little borders around the posts don't show sometimes, avatars, signatures, emoticons as well.

It's definatly no fault of the forum's, otherwise a lot more of us would be having a problem. I've had a lot of difficulties with my computers and I can say that is not one of them, I've never even heard of an error like that. Mabey your computer is just being a b**ch like mine is. I get a lot of unexplained problems and they usually clear up be themselves after a while. Ohter then that I can only suggest running scandisk and then defragmenting your drives.

It can't be my PC. There isn't a problem with any other sites.

Sometimes my PC won't let me on this site just for the fun of it and all other sites work all the time. (besides youtube, but that needs a very good internet conection and since i'm using wireless that's something I just don't have). I told you, your PC's probably just being a b**ch.

OK, but have you ever considered that your computer is playing up for the soul reason that it wants to? Because that does happen a lot to me. Just today my computer refused to start just because I'd pluged my wireless adapter into the other usb port. Surely it should make no difference so I think my computer was just being a.... just being evil.

somtimes it will hang at the post if usb devices are plugged in, also ive had that probem with no images loading on this forum, I had to clear the browser cache, are you using opera?

I have dial up, so the average picture can take anything from 45 secs to 30 mins. All the pictures work for me, but my awesome, hand made sig? ARGH!!! why? WHY?! I don't know why it doesn't work, I'm doing everything right.

are you sure your sig meets alcars requirments?

I've met all recommendations. I've even tried a little black box (small and almost no memory) still doesn't work. Could this be because it's off my usb? I'll have to try saving it to my pc, then uploading it. would this help?

I'm not sure if that would make a difference, it shouldn't do. But computers seem to have minds of their own these days so you might as well give it a go.

It may seem a bit obvious but are you clicking the insert signature picture button?

No error, it comes up in the My Signature bit. But when i post things (yeah! Bolamite!) it doesn't come up.

You need to include the [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] vBCode tags in your signature :p

Nice sig. Can I ask where you got the font from? I have one similar but I noticed that one has non-capital letters.
