When you get it, scan the page in for me please. :) The USA get everything... :(

Good for the U.S.A., but Atusi and his father live in Japan. :p

p.s. I should point out that EGM Live* is a podcast, not part of the printed EGM magazine, and I don’t think you need to subscribe to download it.

Most excellent, but I want less of this secrecy surrounding these projects it's trying my patience way too much!

Interesting! I'd love to know more about Citizen Seige, because we basically no nothing about it.
It seems in these past few months, Oddworld Inhabitants has begun to emerge from the depths of secrecy and isolation. I had a feeling 2007 would be a good year.

Ah, so it's a podcast. I'll have to listen to it when it's released. Thanks for telling me. ;)

Really interesting stuff! And well reported on OddBlog, Xav. ;) You first report since July last year. :D I liked these exchanges:

Crispin Boyer: So now you’ve got Citizen Siege the film, which is due to come out in 2009? Is that still roughly the—?

Lorne: Yeah, we’re talking probably 2010.

Crispin: O.K. And it’ll come out simultaneously with the game—

Lorne: Actually, we plan on releasing the game early because there’s a synergy we haven’t yet to reveal, but there’s a synergy that’s really going to fuel both mediums.

Crispin: So now that you’re working on Citizen Siege, you’re basically in charge of the property, the story and everything, and then are you gonna outsource the game itself, are you still going to be involved in the game’s design, or are you going to outsource pretty much the game’s—?

Lorne: Well we’ve actually, yeah, there’s two games that are associated with it, we’ve designed them both, and we’re actually in talks right now about various stages of production, but what we’re doing is we’re just starting to grow now, up in the Bay area, the actual production facility, but that production facility will be overseeing the television production, the film production, and the game production, so it’s a real multimedia studio at its core.

Ahah, I'm listening to it now. Lorne won't let the interviewer speak! He reminds me of Ross Noble.

It's hard to be able to wait this long. :(

On the other hand, it's not the interviewer we want to hear :p

I still thought it was funny that it finished about 5-10 minutes after the interviewer said something along the lines of 'we'll wrap it up'.

Heh. It was a great interview though. Alot of information and more of an insight (for me) on what kind of a person Lorne is.

atusiya@ 08-08-2007 06:35 AM

Give me text ...:crying:( It is difficult for me to listen the interview)
