two scars - no chant power
 

i get through both temples and watch the movie where I get the second scar. then go past the wells to paramonia and scrabania to the screen with all the mines, sligs and droids. try the ole chant but just keep getting zapped by droids. thought i was supposed to get some cool power here?

note: when i go back to the wells, seems i can return to paramonia which is weird since i already completed this??

you get that cool power when you rescue modokons through a special bird portal, these bird portals have numbers floating inside them that tell you how many modokons you have to save to get the power.

get it?

cheers for the reply - r u talking about Abe's odyssey? i thought once i got the two scars from that bighead dude, i could chant on the mines/sligs screen and blow everything up.

no your right, U should get the power. this happened to a friend of mine I guess a glitch or something, U just have to replay the first one that U did!(be it scrabania or paramonia) I know its a pain but thats all I know of that U can do!

the special bird portals are placed where you really need them like a couple mines some sligs are in the way save the modokons through the portal and you get the power.

Chris and Much are both right. special bird portals give Abe the shrykull power when he saves an excat number of mudokons through that portal, but the very first time abe uses the shrykull power is just after he gets the two scars from Scarabania and Paramonia, and he would suppose to use it in that screen you mentioned, to blow up the security orbs, the land mines and the sligs.

Try to do what Chris suggested.
