Getting Whyrder
hay! First forum post n all and I came across this, had a browse at other wonderful works and thought I'd share some of my Whyrd creations :P
First is my Whyrd, a lanky nomadic creature, often living in small groups. Its ears are rigid bone tubes curled like horns from the side of its skull. Often covered with tribal tattoos and markings. Their large eyes give them almost 180 degree vision while they have an acute sense of smell. They are omnivores and will eat practically anything but have a preference for fish. They have two fingers and two thumbs on each hand. (This one isn't finished yet!) Second is yet to be named, also quite tall they loath each others company but suffer it for personal gain. Extremely selfish creatures the love to horde expensive and rare items. Even though they despise each other they strive to be the most popular. Their hair is a symbol of their status, the more ornate the hair do, the richer it is. The reason for this is when they were nomadic like the Whrd their hair was ragged, thick and mangy to keep them warm. So to prevent smelling horrible and loosing them popularity the lower ranks of these creatures have their heads shaved. There second set of legs are considered unsightly as they are a relic of un-evolved 'lesser' and savage creatures, leaving them to totter around as they balance on their tiny front hooves while tucking their rear legs up. The richest often have these legs removed. They dress in extravagant uniforms of the company that employs them and of their status within it. They have four fingers on each hand. I have over 150 different creatures now, I don't own a scanner which is why I'm only showing off these two. |
