Well. My summer job has proven to be a lot more exhausting than I expected and it's clear now that my final hope of having time to help with moderating is gone. Plus, the position and OWF just don't mean the same thing to me as when I had unreasonably large amounts of free time/little social life outside of school. Either way, mod powers are fun but I feel really burdened by the fact that I'm not able to be around to use them.
I want this to be short and sweet, so I'd just like to say thanks to all who provided a place for intelligent discussions and random amusement. Pretty sure you all know who you are. If it weren't for you, times alone at home would have been far more boring. Still, it's strange to me that I was ever so emotionally involved with an online forum. I don't think that will ever happen again, for better or for worse. So yeah... See you around. If any of you (though I doubt that's anyone outside of the states) have Facebooks (yeah, yeah I caved), feel free to keep in touch. I might pop in every once in a while, who knows. Until then, thanks and farewell all you wacky forum goers! |

I laugh because it is funny. I was OT mod for a while. Then I was Global mod. Then I realized that I didn't have the patience to delete every ass clown that comes to this forum posting some Viagra spam thread. No. I've already dealt with the meager responsibilities involved with moderating parts of this forum, and I can honestly say that we REALLY don't need another OT mod to keep this place going. |
