Teh moon landings wer HAX! lol
Is anyone else getting supremely irate at the sheer number of people convinced that the moon landings, and presumably every non-shuttle mission (by extension of the same logic) were faked?
I suppose I'm asking for it, answering questions on Yahoo!Answers, but there are at least three questions a day in the Space category alone querying it, and at least half of the answers insist that the conspiracy "theories" are true. I think this is in no small part due to the recent Fox (it's always Fox) special purporting the deranged notion, the science of which is comparable to that of ID. Jeeze, if it's not the imagined flag waving it's the presence of dust about the lander, if its not the lack of exposed stars on the film it's the deadly magic Van Allen Belt. I despair. It's like a second dark age is on the horizon. |
Gimme any link to prove this. Pictures, videos, articles, anything.

The number 1 reason that people think this is because 'the flag appeared the be waving' while there is no wind to let it wave. There is however, no gravity...
|
Anyone who thinks the moon landing was fake is stupid. For one, the Soviets were watching us like a hawk. If we did any kind of fabrication for something as big as the moon landing, they would have been all up and down our asses.

It was real, get over it.
|
9/11 was real, moon landings were real, Islam isn't a religion of peace, Jesus claimed to be God and never married Mary Magdalene, there is no homosexual agenda, Israel rules, dhimmis drool, and Bush isn't to blame for everything.
|
Saying we didn't land on the moon is like saying that Planes don't exist. Whenever we need to travel via Airplane, they knock us out and drive us to our destination.
Stupid is as Stupid does, and Stupid is being an idiot about this. |
|
The moon landing is as fake as gravity.
I swear, what you people believe is just so illogical. |
LAWD.
What is the world coming to. I must keep telling myself that one day all the stupid people will die someday, leaving the smart ones to live in peace. |
Yes. But, why is the flag waving?
|
Because the stick holding it up was bouncing.
I find this thread amusing because last time we had one on this topic - oh, about three years ago - the vast majority of people were pro-hoax and refused to be convinced otherwise. |

I have no idea really. Is it real or not? Pha, the goverment lie about so much nowdays its hard to believe any damn thing.

C'mon, guys. The moon landings were real. There is no way that they could've set it all up, it's impossible. |

Somehow the Furries are always the first to know. |

that changes everything if nixon was president.
i mean that goverment was even more crooked than the one now. who the hell still thinks that anyway? course it was godamned real! and this is too all of you who think 9/11 was set up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcrF346sS_I |
Jeeze, on topic guys. Patrick, quit turning every thread into your soapbox, it's getting irritating.
The reason the flag was waving is simply that it wasn't- it was held up by a stiff telescopic rod that didn't open fully, but they liked the aesthetic appeal of the wrinkled flag so left it. It was probably knocked over by the thrust of the lunar module taking off. |

the goverment are lying scummy bastards. Allways will be. Still, i think 'man' landed on the frigging moon. Did you know that moon might be some type of ineatable cheese? Phah, off topic. who cares, I think Fergie is a man for gods sake.
|
Why do I think it was faked? Because, at the time, it was so friggin likely and easy to do.

I'd swear that to you on my very existence. Call me when you find Christian suicide bombers who are endorsed by mainstream theologians and theology and supported by Biblical exegesis.
But that's off topic. Moon landings are real, that's the truth. Go home, pack up your troubles in your old kit bag. |
