Have you done anything amazing in Video Games?
Have you ever done anything while playing a game where it even amazed you? Have you done anything that even when you tried to repeat it you just couldn't do it? Have you done something in a game that you have not seen anyone else do? If so tell us your stories.

One time in CS:S I shot a random doorknob and ended up headshotting a teammate through it. Lol's were had.
|
In Gears of War, I hit someone with the T bow from across the map, and it turns out the timing was perfect, because I killed the entire team of 4 with one shot.

A lot of things in Mario Kart Double Dash... like having a green turtle shell actuall ricochet off of the wall and smash into the car in front of us... and a lot of crazy stunts in that game that wouldn't work a lot of the time.
Same with Halo and Star Fox assault. |

... Geeze, I can never think of a good response when put on the spot like this. I know I've got plenty of funny/interesting vidja' game moment thingers, but I can't remember a single one for the life of me. |
One of my best moments was probably the first few minutes of Dead Rising.
I stuck a shower head in a zombie's head, and blood fountained out, killing it. I slapped a zombie with a fish, and killed it. I ran over a horde of zombies with a lawnmower. I ran around the mall in a full Megaman suit, shooting tennis balls from the fake Mega blaster. I ran around the mall with Frank in a cute little sundress, with a lego-head on top. I mastered the use of the boomerang. I covered all the nearby zombie's heads with traffic cones. BE DISORIENTED AS TO WHERE THE ACCIDENT HAS OCCURED AS MY EVIL MOVING TRAFFIC CONE MINIONS STUMBLE RANDOMLY AROUND! I did various kung-fu moves on zombies, such as the back-flip kick, the flying jump kick, and the judo chop. And, most fantastic of all, I ripped out a zombie's intestines with my bare hands. |
My 360 just got in today, and so did my copy of Dead Rising.
Well, I was playing for a bit, and went to the bathroom, while leaving the thing on. Bad idea when you're a cat owner. One of the cats tipped it over, BURNINATING the disk. That game was fun for the first 15 minutes. |
I raised a chao on Sonic Adventure 2 with 99 Level in all of its stats. It was my first hatched chao too. It won all of the races with ease.
|
I pulled some Matrix like stunts in Battlefield 2 once. I came down an alley and there were about 6 guys around me and somehow I managed to survive after killing all of them.
|
When I was doing some work at a kid's After School Hours Care, they gave some mentally-disabled kid in a wheelchair the N64 controller. The Game was super mario 64.
Mario simultaneously went in 5 directions before rolling up into a beach ball and bouncing around. Then the game froze. True story. |
Couple things in dowloaded games for my Wii, but most of all in Wii sports.
Firstly, I want you all to know thateach Wii owner has made at least ONE tyrannical dictator Mii, namely for me:Hitler and Emo hitler. I was playing the 'Mii Parade' and all of these crazy Miis came in, all evil, Like Doctor breen, Mother brain, Moussolini, KHAAAAAAAN!, some Kind K. Rool thing that looked nothing like him, some bowser thing, a headcrab (which turned out to be mne, coming from another consolem and tons of other crazy shit. most of all, glitching Donkey Kong Country 2 and fighting King Zing Sting as Diddy and Dixie, without Squawk With complete invincibility. probably finishing Freebird on GH2 WITH NO MISTAKES, that was goddamn epic. |
Is this enough? Oh, and Kastere, what is your Wii number? |
Cool, Abeguy, I really need to get that game.
BTW, to anyone with functioning eyes, you oughta know that Hitler and other wrong Mii's may be cute, but their sheer existence is completely innapropriate. (Though hilarious.) |
I killed someone in Rainbow Six Vegas as he shot me in the head over and over again. =D
|
I pulled off a Killtacular on Halo once. Yes. 4 enemies with 1 cartridge of sniper bullets. It was on Blood Gulch.
What's that you say? Everyone could pull it off? How about I killed the entire enemy team (4 kills, in a row, 1 clip), while they had the flag, they were on their way for the final Flag Capture, using a Warthog, with all seats taken, plus one extra on the windshield? They were like "WTF? What just happened?!" And then I got major praises :D. Felt damn good. |
My main game for these moments is Aliens vs. Predator 2 (also, any fans? Could have a game sometime) as it's the one game I'm genuinely godlike at. My best moment I would say was on an evacuation (marines get to a point and hold against aliens) where I rushed forward as a single alien drone - I destroyed the whole squad of marines by myself, the team including:
1 Exosuit 2 Pulse-Rifle armed Marines 1 Flamer 1 Heavy Weapons (Sadar) 5 Kills was the queen kill limit, so the next round I was a queen alien, one of two that server had ever seen due to the fact you'd have to take out their whole team by yourself as a regular alien class :) Very proud moment, hehe. |
Halo always seems to have some cool moments. Here's a neat Halo moment that I didn't actually do, but was thoroughly involved in:
Along time ago, when I actually played and was pretty good at Halo:CE, I had one of my infamous Halo Party nerd-fest things at my house. The level being played was Sidewinder (I believe that was the name; it's the snowy one), and I was on one of the ridges sniping into the blue base. Now, my friend Kyle, who has become wise to my ways, decides that he is going to run and grab the blue base sniper rifle and out-snipe me. Unfortunately for him, I'm (of course) watching the blue sniper rifle, and dispatch him with a headshot each time he attempts to grab the rifle. Kyle becomes frustrated in the smiling, joking kind of way (not in the snarling nerd-fury kind of way) and vows to outsmart me. Intrigued, I continue watching the blue base rifle. He says "Hey everyone! Check out my screen! I'm going to try something cool." Most of the players, including me, turn to see what he's doing. He is standing on the blue base ladder, just out of reach of my sniper rifle. Carefully, he tosses a grenade just barely past the blue base rifle. When it explodes, the sniper rifle launches directly towards his face, and for the split second when the rifle is the perfect distance from him, he mashes down the X button and catches it mid-air. Commence a room full of sweaty nerds going "OOOHHHH!!!" in perfect harmony. Keep in mind that this wasn't long after Halo:CE first came out, and no one in the room really knew that you could do stuff like that. And that, friends, is why all multiplayer shooters need physics. |
In Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, I think I garnered as many memories possible on single player. A little over a hundred if I remember correctly. I also completed the side quests such as following the princess of Alfitaria and getting 100k for it. That was pretty sweet.

for me it was on counter strike gun game where i killed about 9 people and won the match at first
|
Fascsimile, it doesn't have to be something entirely amazing, just something you considered amazing.
Like killing someone in SSBM with the laser cannon at point blank, its not amazing, but its fun to see. And come on, disembowling zombies has a really good feeling to it. |
I managed to finish Driver 2... That is THE most amazing thing I've done.
|
I played through the Spiderman 3 game for five minutes. Damn, I wish I had those 5 minutes back.
|
I actually finished Final Fantasy VII, that is equivalent to finishing Tomb Raider Legend a thousand times.
|
:
I got so pissed. So I haven't actually beaten the game yet, but gotten pretty decently far, enough so I could follow the events of Advent Children pretty good. |
Oh, poor, poor Daxter king, that game was so awful, ESPECIALLY for the Wii, I want my money and dignitii back.
|
:
And to think it was gonna be like Spiderman 2... |

Which is why you have Aeris in your party to dispell, silly.
Cloud, Rex XIII, and Aeris was my main party till you-know-what happened, then it was Tifa replacing Aeris. |
