Hello. This is a Soul Calibur thread, for discussing things such as; best characters, best moves/combos, best create a character job & create a character "recipes".

Well, when I was younger (About 8 years old to be exact), my brother got a PS1 game called 'Soul Blade' and I remembered some characters like 'Hwang', 'Sophitia', 'Misteruigi', 'Taki' and 'Cervantes' (I was terrifed of Cervantes when I first saw him). I then played Soul Calibur 2 which I have on the gamecube. I recognised all the characters I listed. And I saw Nightmare and read his bio. I realised that he was 'Sigfried' from Soul Blade. I was thinking 'Wow...how nostalgic'.

Yes, I am a fan of the games I have played of the Soul Calibur series. I want to play all of them.

Favourite characters are Taki, Nightmare, Maxi, Mitsurugi, Yoshimitsu and Ivy.

One of the best throws I've done was...I can't remember what it's called, but Rapheal dips his opponent with a dancing move then throws them with his sword.

(I haven't played it in a long time, seeing this topic has given me an urge to dig it out again)

hm.. s.c the first was quite good, but s.c.III is in a league of its own. fighting system is at its best, most caracters, custom characters & a tonne of modes.
