Is your house haunted?
Mine is in the night u can see ghostly figures walking around,t.v turns off by it self...
|
Intresting, did you ever tried to take pictures with an old camera? :p
|
Yeah, and I'm also pretty sure that Naruto lives in your closet and flies out at night to steal your gold ...
|
...and use that gold in order to buy himself full bronze. The ruthless n00b.
Haunting house of the haunted, aye? Just to contribute, I think my house is, someone died in it (there was a picture of the corpse when we bought the house). This ghostly figure has also been following me...looks like Alf. But seriously, I think this is something wandering. Or just my active imagination. |
It's your active imagination.
On-topic: What the hell? |
Oh yes! Mine is! And little pixies come out at midnight and sing happy songs!
|
Well I think my math room (at school) has bad spirits in it. You feel really depressed just going near it, and I like maths. Crazy ghosts.
|
I'm pretty sure my house is haunted.
By me. |
Apparantly my college is haunted, all these people have died there and people keep seeing 'ghosts'.
I don't believe it though, I've never seen anything. - Rexy |
I occasionally see things swoop past in my house, but I put it down to my brain and eyes not coordinating with eachother properly.
Besides, my house is just over 10 years old, and as far as I remember, no one has died in it. Yet. Alcar... |
I see things that are not really there at home. I am probably just going mad.
|
I'm TRYING to haunt Burial Grounds, but it's hard.
But around here? Nup. |
:
Anyway, haunted? Well, we found a rat skeleton in the wall one day when we got our wires checked. Does that count? |
People say my school is haunted some kid drown in a swiming pool in my school the pool is used as a music storeage room now and people say they see a ghostly figure down there and they also say that somone hung themself in a bell tower and that there's a ghost up there but I haven't seen anything.
|
God, all these people who can't be bothered to type. Makes me want to kill myself from the IQ drain every post gives me.
Is it that hard to spell or hit the button that has a '.' on it?! /me runs off, sobbing. |

P.S.:My house is haunted!I always see a big gray van coming closer to me, and when it should crush me, it disappears!I sometimes see Slegs coming and when they should bite me, they open jaws and then transform into big yellow lights then they disappear! What the hell is happenin' with me!?! |
:
Apparently this person died in a music room in my school, and that room is haunted. It does have a really horrible and creepy feel to it though, probably because you think there's a ghost there. |
Hey!

I think the comment may have referred to your dodgy sentence-structure, bad use of commas and the way you don't ever put a space after punctuation.
The theatre I used to do drama at was supposed to be haunted backstage by some actress who died on her way to a performance. The cleaner claimed to have seen the ghost, though we once sat in the dark backstage for half an hour and nothing happened. Possibly the constant giggling scared her off. We stopped trying when someone crept downstairs and grabbed someone by the shoulders, making them scream. Then our teacher came down and told us to put the lights back on and shut up. There are some photos of various productions from the theatre in the bar, one of which shows a ghostly face in the background, though that idea was wrecked when someone pointed out it was just a picture being used as a prop. For reasons understandable I don't belive in ghosts. Most of it I put down to breezes, dodgy electrics and super-sonic noises that mess with the brain. Other stuff, seances, pentagons, wee-jee boards and the like I put down as satanic, but if I don't much like the thought of another contraversy war flying around (which seems to happen a lot when I post in Off Topic) so I won't be pursuing that subject. |
HMMM...

I keep seeing ghosts: a figure walking behind me, but who is not there when I turn to see who it is. It’s probably just my long hair playing tricks with me, and it’s only momentarily disconcerting.
|
My old house was definately haunted with something. I'll elaborate later I gotta run, but I guess I would define it more as negative energy so to speak.

And nate, go ahead and quote me. This horrible plague of grammar-death must be contained. |
Well, I believe in ghosts. My house is not haunted (Touch wood). But there is some sort of link between our family members. Even in death.
There is a photo in my hallway. It's not haunted (Touch wood) but it does have a ghost in. It's of my Uncle (It was the last photo taken of him while he was still alive) and there is an outline of an elderly woman behind him. We all reckon it's my Gran's mother just about to guide my uncle to Heaven. According to my Auntie, my Uncle and my Great-Gran were close. Another time with me. Believing in ghosts, I got curious. I just said 'Grandad, if you're there...give me a sign'. Later that night, when I was in bed, I felt fingers brushing against my hair. It made me shoot up in bed. I had to think about for a few seconds before saying 'Thanks, Grandad'. Call me crazy if you want to, everyone. But I know what happened. Not you. But my house is not haunted (Touch wood). *Holds a flame shield up* |
:
But seriously, the old house I used to live in... Every single time I'd go to sleep late and alone I felt like someone bumped into me. Who knows! I asked my mom to see wether anyone died there before and she confirmed it. |
Jesus Christ...what does someone dying in the house have to do with people seeing "ghosts"? These illusions could result in any number of causes, including those Splat mentioned at the end of his post, plus sleep-deprivation-induced, substance-induced, or just plain-induced visual, auditory, somatosensory, olfactory, and gustatory hallucinations. Plus overstimulated imaginations. Have you ever noticed that the people who don't believe in ghosts have never seen them?
|
And that people who see UFOs are almost always some poor schmuck working at a gas station or hiking in the woods? :p
