Emulators.
Do you use them?
I do. I have a GBA one, a SNES one, and a 64 one. I have a rule with them, ethically. If the machine is currently not on sale, (GBA excluded) and I yearn enough for FF 3 or Lylat Wars, I'll download them. I'm currently searching for a PSX one, with some ISOs. Any ideas? |
I use lots of emulators. Sega MegaDrive (Genesis Americans knew it as), Sega Mega CD, GBA, and PSX.
I can't use my PSX ones though. I can't find any Bios to configure it with. |
I use only psx emulator...
Mod Edit: That's ever so slightly illegal and against the rules. Don't post these sort of links. EDIT: I'm sorry, I was not sure if psx bios is warez or not.. |
I used to use Snes emulators lots for playing Super Mario World hacks, and Megadrive ones for Sonic the Hedgehog ones. I used to have a flash cart worth £80 for the GBA, but someone stole it from me from my very own home.

I used to have a dreamcast emulator, never got it working though

I've got a bunch of good classics on the SNES, and the 64 is used pretty much for tLoZ:MM. I plan to port them all to a PSP, if I can ever actually bring myself to not spending money for two and a half weeks. Ce n'est pas possible. |
I also have emulators. I used them mostly to make TAS movies and showcase incredible stunts.

I have MacMame on my iMac. It's an arcade emulator.
*reminds self to check and see if Metal Slug 6 can be emulated* |
I've got an Gameboy Advance emulator, NES emulator, Snes emulator And Sega Multisystem Emulator (it plays the Genesis, Game Gear, Master System and Sega CD games)

I downloaded a PS emulator, but the games ran too slowly. In the realms of one frame per minute. Does that count?

SORT-OF ON TOPIC: I thought a mod would have locked this whole thread completley. ON TOPIC: I have a DS emulator and a couple of GAMEboy emulators. I use them when my real game boy is recharging and when I can't be bothered buying a game. |
