Mobile/PocketPC version of OWF
 

I've got another idea how to make these forums better - I like surfing on net on my pocket pc in school, but all the browsers I tried are unstable and sometimes I'm not even able to log in - browser crashes because of lots of transferred data, it must load lots of pictures and so on.
I think it would be good to make some mobile version of these forums, or just maybe new template without pictures... I will be verrrrry glad!

It's a cute idea but I doubt the forums are popular enough for this to be done. Think about all the work that would be put into it, all the time & effort for a few members to sign in during class hours.

I dunno about you lot but I don't even think about the forums during my day. I'm usually to busy at college working.

Oh and I never use my mobile for surfing the net. I'm just not that high-tech.

I don’t know what a pocket PC is, but any decent browser has the option to not display images, and you can change to one of the image‐light forum skins, and choose in your CP to hide users’ signatures.

If I had a Pocket PC, I'd like the idea. :p But I don't. :lol:

I must use Minimo browser (by Mozilla), because Opera for pocket pc is not free and is very expensive.. Pocket Internet Explorer doesn't have blocking images function...

The Minimo is beta version (so it can't block images...) and is very unstable, so there are problems with the lots of data it must download and show on display.. it always crashes.
