Which country are you from?

I'm sorry if there is topic for this, I'm too lazy to search for it...

I'm from Czech Republic, small republic in the central Europe.

Mutual Friend 05-21-2007 09:41 AM

England (recently discovered by scientists to be the greatest country in the world.)

Abraham Lure 05-21-2007 09:47 AM

I'm a Cornish Woman from England. I am English yet Cornish. England rules. I love it. Yes, I am from England.

Mojo 05-21-2007 09:48 AM

I'm from the good old U S of - Wait, no I'm not.

I'm from The Netherlands, A.K.A. Holland, often mistaken for Germany, so that actors playing Dutch people, speak German. There's only one film I've seen that actually uses Dutch actors. Something about a courier with a plane. Forgot which film.

Anyways, that's where I am from.

Go Dutchees!

ZaxXx 05-21-2007 09:49 AM

I'm not sure if everyone knows where is Czech republic..

dripik 05-21-2007 09:57 AM

Hungary. Usually, it's only recognised around the world when there's a great demonstration sort of thing going on. Otherwise, it's completely ignored in other places, if you don't count the hungry-jokes.

But seriously, it's a good country to live in, especially in the capital. Lots of things to see.

Damn, I adore Cornwall!

I was originally born in Indiana, America. I'm an Englishmen now, though - I moved to Wakefield at a very young age. They used to call where I live (Durkar) Durtkar, but when all the darn trendies (middle class gits) moved in, the place had it's name changed to Durkar.
I'm of American blood, but I am an Englishman at heart.

May England last longer than my Uncle Joe's frosty Jaffa Cakes.

ZaxXx 05-21-2007 10:02 AM

Is there anyone from Germany? I'm travelling to Germany this weekend :D

Mutual Friend 05-21-2007 10:08 AM

I don't think Germans are allowed on these forums. Many a time Alcar has posted open rejections of Germany's repeated apologies for the Holocaust, but he refuses to budge. "Blood ain't washed away so easily," he says.

OddjobAbe 05-21-2007 10:13 AM

Wow. The Germans did nothing wrong at all. The Nazis were the ones who messed up. The Nazis give Germany a bad name. So I believe that Germans should be allowed on the forum.

But if you're joking, that's a whole different story.

Mutual Friend 05-21-2007 10:17 AM

Ooh, I only wish I were. :(

Rex Tirano 05-21-2007 11:10 AM

Haha. :p

I'm from the UK.

Oh yes. Worship me.

:pI don't get it.

Mutual Friend 05-21-2007 12:01 PM

Maybe because gramatically it's a load of tosh.

It should read: "You're letting those nationalists get too much of a foot on the ladder."

Ahem.

Chubfish 05-21-2007 12:03 PM

My other family lives in New Zealand. Yay...other family members, ahem.

Arxryl 05-21-2007 12:53 PM

Britain, Kent, but a student in Southampton, a university that secretly steals lasers from profitable corporations, then sells them on to Oxford when they get old and worn out.

Mia the Mud 05-21-2007 02:31 PM

I’m from the Great White North! That’s Canada to the rest of world. :D And no, I don’t live in a igloo and my best friend isn’t a polar bear. :)

skillya_glowi 05-21-2007 04:53 PM

I was born in Moscow, Russia (but I'm half-Ukranian).
However, I'm obsessed with Dutch things and Australian things.
I guess those two would be my 3 favourite countries...

snuzi 05-21-2007 08:40 PM

I was born in Colombia, South America, but am 100% Polish. I currently live in the United States.

Reiji Neko Mitsukai 05-21-2007 08:58 PM

I live in the US. Not much else to say.

I'm an American, although I have a LOT of Hungarian in my family, from my dad's side since his family moved from there because of some conflicts with Russians. So I plan to go there someday.

Oh and a funny thing about the hungry jokes; my grandma from my father's side is hungarian obviously, she has a thick accent and everything, but she seriously has like a HUGE appetite. She always lies to us and pretends to be all dainty like she doesn't eat much but I've never seen anyone who likes eating more than her. I can I can't blame her because I think it might be a side-effect of her medication but later I was told that she was hungry a lot pretty much her whole life.
