Greeting Change?
I noticed in AE that after you rescue at least one mud, instead of Abe saying hello like before, he says hi. What's up with that?
|
I just went to play to see that, as I had never noticed it, and I found out: There are three greetings, a sad, normal, and a happy greeting. If you have more casualties than escapees, Abe says a sad "Hi"; if you have more escapees than casualties, Abe says a happy "Hi" and if you have the same number of escapees and casualties, Abe says a "Hello".
|
I didn't have that in the old version of AE I was playing on PS. I lost it somewhere. Now, years later I borrowed it from a friend and noticed that Abe has emotions attached to his "Hi" based on the number of casualties and escapees.
|
*Sigh*
When Abe is happy, and has saved lots of Muds, he says "Hi", but it sounds like: "Oi!" When Abe is sad, and has killed lots of Muds, he says "Hi" in an emo voice. When he's saved and killed the same amount of Muds he says "Hello" |
funny, I never noticed that :p
but on the other hand I didn't play the games that much |
Hmm, I should go and try that out...:fuzzle:

I live in NZ....Goths over here go on about how life is lame and death and they are all sad and depressed...I dont really know what a 'emo' is...

a) You people didn’t notice this? It stuck out like a sore thumb. Like a pretty nifty sore thumb.
b) This is not the right place for studying comparative subcultures. |
I never noticed that. But then I never played with casualties.

Shite, sorry Max, I kinda got carried away... :fuzemb:
I saw one of the gameplay videos of AE when playing the game and I saw that Abe said Hi to the Paramite herd and I thought it was so funny. I wanted to do it myself but I didn't know how, but then I found out when I killed some Muds. :D |
