Sup,

had a look on ebay, found the oddworld abes exodus pc game, but it's an old game. Nothing special, but will it work with XP? I dont have a windows 95 machine or 98 one, but is there anyway it will work? Or will it work fine?

I only know one way, after installation, right click the game's icon and click proporties, then compatibility. Will this work?

It will work okay. Just make sure you do set the compatability to Windows 98. Sometimes, you don't even have to do this, but most of the time you do.

I got them for PC, but unfortunately they were not widescreen compatible :(

Sadly I can't play Abe's Exoddus at Windows XP, so I have to use Windows 98... So I can't download any trainers or savemakers (well, I think that I wouldn't use savemaker, but trainer...). Well, at least I can play Abe's Exoddus! ^^

I use Windows XP, and both my Oddysee and my Exoddus played flawlessly without any tinkering needed.

My AO seems to work just fine on Vista. I didn't really have any problems with it, other than the videos being weird for a little while.

Yep. I purchased AE for P.C the other day, I use XP and it works fine. I thought it wouldn't but I was happy when it did.

I've got A.E. on my PC (Although the process by which I *acquired* the game is neither hygenic nor fulfilling to my pride. I'm quite ashamed of it.) and it works fine. I just don't have any of the cinematics.

Do you mean the FMV's? Yep same here the FMV's don't work too. :/

That's most likely because you have the installer disk inserted. There should be 2 CD's, and installer and FMV disk. Use the FMV disk and there you go.

You will have to buy it off ebay i'm afraid. Or somebody could lend you the files to put into your directory.

So you can legally consume the milk. What's more, you'll be able to have full-cream rather than a downloaded skim version.
