Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
 

They're both out only in Japan and the USA at this time, but people in Europe are importing copies from the US as we speak. Have you lot got your copy of Diamond or Pearl? If so, what's it like? If not, are you planning to get either atall?

Bah! Not planning and not getting diamond or pearl. I don't like pokemon to tell you the truth I HATE Pokemon. No offence.

As much as I like the Pokemon games, I don't plan on buying one of these. The new pokemon look tacky and gay, they're getting worse.

I heard on Gamespot it was one of the more rounded Pokemon games...I might by it along with Ranger so I can get Manaphy but it's not out in the UK yet...oh well...guess I will have to play Mario Slam Basketball!

You realize you can trade your pokemon from Firered/Ruby right? Then you don't have to worry about the new pokemon.

I'm getting the game in about 3 days, I can't wait!
Its suppose to have online battles and trading, that'll be nice.
When I get the game I'd love to try playing against you guys.

You have to wait a while to trade from those games. And you still need all the badges to stop them from ignoring you, so while you get the badges, you still need to use the new pokemon.

I actually just purchased Diamond yesterday, and I really like it so far. Sure, training the Pokemon gets a bit tedious, but I enjoy battling too much to care :p.

I certainly did :D. They're pretty good in my opinion. I'm looking forward to catching stronger ones though, as I've only gotten mine up to about level 20 :p.

Wow, level 20 already? :) I'd buy it, but I'm saving up for Tomb Raider Anniversary, which very amazingly is going to be £17.00. :D

I just got Diamond! Its fun so far! I started with the penguin one. I figure I would upgrade since I only have Yellow....

I always start out with the plant type Poke-thingy-majjiger.... I still think Bulbasaur kicks ass.


The games may seem childish, but really they are fun to mess around with. It's the T.V. and the mass advertising that kills the series though...


That being said, yes I do want to get Diamond or pearl. ;)

Not me. The series sucked from the very beginning in my opinion. I was always into the cards and games. The show was garbage.

Well I was a child when I collected them. I used to be quite hooked on 'em. Thank God I haven't grown into being one of those card-hoarding Yu-Gi-Oh Obsessors, though :p.

Also, how far is everyone in the game so far? I'm currently looking for some legendary lake pokemon, or something.

Its free, you just need a router and highspeed net. Anyways I dont need that anymore, as I just beat the 4th gym leader! YAY!

The games were the first thing that existed Pokemon wise, and the main RP ones should remain the best out of the lot. Sending Pokemon from Ruby up will be awesome, and when I finally get a Wii, they'll look kickass on Battle Revolution. Can't wait to trade my AR'd Cradily up. It ownages pretty much everything in existance. Except for grass types...stupid Leech Seed...yeah, I'll stop droning now and just continue slathering at the thought of them :D
