If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
 

I saw this topic on another forum. I thought it was pretty funny with what everyone came up with. I didn't respond. Okay, enough of this topic's origins.

If I was a Superhero, I'd have some weird powers. I would have Super Speed, The ability to fly, seeing in the dark and the ability to scream really loud.

Okay, what powers would you have?

Sorry if this topic is bad, spam or has been done before. Just lock it if it is.

I would choose the ability to pause, rewind and fast forward time, so I could 'put right what once went wrong' (like in Quantum Leap :lol: ), I would have telekinetic powers, and of course the beautiful ability to roll around in toxic waste to gain more powers instead of catch some sort of disease from the poisons contained in the waste.

I'd be the Tick. Super strength, super leaping, and nigh indestructability.
Super speed and invisibility/shape shifting are strong contenders.

I'd be able to move things with my mind. I dunno why but I'd love to do that!

Obviously I'd want every super-power avaliable but if I had to choose just one, it'd be that.

I'd have the power of psychokinesis.

I've always wanted psychic powers (specifically pyrokenisis, ESP, telekinesis, clairvoyance, telepathy, psychometry, and precognition). I'd also like to be able to fly.
EDIT: Seeing a few other posts, I remeber that I've always wanted to have the ability of metamorphism and....ninja powers.

I would just want to fly. Flying is awsome...
Maybe turn into a tiger or... something.

I would love to be able to transform into anything I wanted, eg: A pot plant, other people, dragons, dogs, a book, a Tyrannosaur ANYTHING. That would be so cool.

I'd have to say feline reflexes and senses, super strength and speed, and really sharp teeth and claws.

Telekinesis and Pyrogenesis are my favourites. Pyrogenesis (at least the variant I have in mind) enables a "blaster" type hero, always fun, and the super-cool fire elemental role.

Telekinesis is a good match because it has constructive elements, offsetting the indoor-unfriendly fire powers. It makes you able to use your powers as a direct means to help people, becoming a hero instead of a "mere" supersoldier. It also enables levitation when used on oneself, and combined with specially applies pyrogenesis can turn you into a literal rocket-man.

It's also good for lobbing things about and picking people up, "Dark Jedi style", and slamming them into crap. Or just holding them still, suspended in the air for efficient incineration. That is, of course, the evil route, one that I would steadfastly avoid.

Also, I really want to do that trick where you use your thumb to light people's cigarettes.

Maybe because you're used to moving threads?
I'd like to have precognition (which I already have...)
and telekinesis(which I intend to start practicing...)

On-Topic: I'd like to be a mind reader. It's a terrible thing to admit but I get quite paranoid about what people think about me. I have been known to accidentally piss people off and be completely oblivious to it. So I'd like the power to know what people think of me so I could act more appropriately.

Other than that... I'd like a good metabolism.:D

Blech! I would never want to read minds. Knowing the absolute truth all the time? Far too depressing.

Telekinesis for teh win. I mean, in addition to being able to grab/push anything, you could levitate yourself through the air for like... flying and stuff; it's like two powers in one! Other Psychokinetic powers (force fields, regeneration, walking through walls, etc.) would be pretty spiffy, but kinda pointless unless you're doing cheap parlor tricks... or, like, locked in mortal combat or something.

But by far, I would want the power of creation. You know, being able to make anything with my mind. I guess that counts as a form of Psychokinesis.

That counts as a form of genesis.

Definately telekinesis a kin to a Jedi etc.

hmm being able to create worlds and be immune to the vacume in space and being able to breath in water and space oh and super trangth and flight
yep that would be the coolest super hero i can think of

Telekineses, ofcourse.
Pyrokineses, I am a pyro, afterall.
Super-reflexes, for obvious reasons.
And like most comic book heroes today:
The ability to master these powers in a day.

I would love to have the power to teleport as that would be pretty nifty, super high agility and speed if I ever need to fight anything...and probably some lightning powers too as that would be pretty cool. Also, I would love to be able to control water, that would be nice...:D

No big deal.
 

I already have Super Powers, just choose not to use them. :D

I use to have superpowers... until my psychiatrist took them away...:(


Anyways, if I were to have any super power I'd want:

The Ability to change form, and take on the powers/abilities/intelligence/mannerisms of that specific person. Fictional, or non. With that ability even I could make an Oddworld movie... Or have a blast freaking people out with my new ability... :D

Another super power I'd like: Knowing when I was wrong or did something wrong. For instances such as those above... ;)

Telekinesis really is too powerful and adaptable to say no to. Just think how super you could be at many sports. You could dust all the nooks and crannies without having to stand on chairs or squeeze between furniture. You could wipe up spillages without getting nastiness on your hands. You could drink from water fountains without having to bend down or put your face anywhere near the rancid metal.

Also, I'd like to be able to have Money Vision, so I'd never worry about paying for rent or such. Other powers include super reflexes, X-ray vision if I'm ever feeling a bit naughty, and the always-useful invulnerability.

Having the 'form of!' shape-shifting power would always be fun. Sneak into a girl's dorm.

I'd just have to hope the fat girl didn't pick me up. It'd also be fun to turn into a cup of coffee, and scream when someone starts to drink me.

I think I'd go for energy transfer (I don't know if there's a proper name for that). So I could absorb heat, light and any other energy and emit them as I pleased. So I could freeze stuff and start fires and be my own flashlight and levitate stuff and pretty much do just about anything.

Seems like the most versatile superpower there is.
