Photography

Seeing as how both of my art threads kinda died, I've decided to post some of my photography. Most of it is of sunsets, since I'm quite obsessed with them, but I do take the occasional nature picture whenever I'm at the park, or wandering through the woods during a family outing. Anyway, I hope you all like them :D.

And feel free to post some of your own photography here as well, since I'd love to see everyone else's work :).

Dude! This stuff is awesome! I never knew NYC was so beautiful! Great picture taking, Snuzi! ;)

Actually, it should remains Snuzi's Photography, as he didn't really invite people to start sharing photos. Unless of course you asked him, then...

Anyways. Those are cool photos! I like the ones at sunset the most.

Thanks alot, Jordan :D. Heh, I don't know about New York in general, but Staten Island, in my opinion, certainly does have it's fair share of wonderful sights.

Well, I wasn't exactly planning on making this thread for photography in general, but what the hell, if you have some of your own photography you'd like to share, go right ahead and post it here :).

And thanks. I'm glad you like it :). I also liked the last one you posted the most.

Heh, I don't mind. Whoever wants to share their own photos is more to welcome to :).

Thank you :). The sunset ones are my favorites as well.

moxco 03-30-2007 03:46 PM

Well i might as well show this.

Wow, that's a really awesome picture, MoxCo. Quite relaxing. Almost makes me want to jump right in :p.

Heh, and I'm glad you like that sunset photo of mine :D.

OddjobAbe 03-31-2007 02:36 AM

*cries happily* Those sunsets are beautiful, Snuzi.

Also, MoxCo, your image is nice too.

Matriar 03-31-2007 05:46 AM

 Awesome photos, Snuzi! I love the 1st and 5th picture most. The one with the geese is cute too. :D
Nice work!

Arxryl 03-31-2007 12:20 PM

Nice photo! I'd post some of the one's I took whilst at Disneyland, but I can't find them. I think the ones I took looked the best out of all the vacation photos taken. I got a lot of natural looking ones (you know, when the person doesn't know you have the camera out and are taking a fast-one).

Well, if you do find 'em, post 'em here :). I'm curious to see them :p.

Well, here are some more that I found on my computer. I should have some more to upload tonight, that is, as soon as I find 'em and reduce 'em a bit.

Well, enjoy :D.

Yay! Cool! The fourth pic made me dizzy, and that fifth pic...NYC? :D

snuzi 03-31-2007 09:09 PM

Why'd the fourth pic make ya dizzy? Is it because of the angle?

And yes, the fifth is of good ol' Manhattan, as it can be viewed from the Staten Island Ferry. I seriously need to start taking my camera to school again, since that particular location has some interesting sunrises :p.

Yea, the angle was weird...I get dizzy easily.

snuzi 04-01-2007 12:11 AM

Heh, well it was the only way I could take a picture without including part of my window in it :p.

dripik 04-01-2007 02:27 AM

Those pictures are neat, Snuzi. They remind me of some of the photos I have. These were made in England (1. Lake District, 2. Isle of Mann).

Jordan 04-01-2007 09:52 AM

Snuzi, awesome pics! They look like scenes from movies, they look that good! Keep up the great camera-work dude! :D

Arxryl 04-01-2007 09:54 AM

Nice photos! You people must like birds... ;)

Thanks alot, dripik :).

Wow, yours look great! I can't imagine how you took the one of the seagull in mid-air. It must've been difficult. Great job :D.

That's alot, dude! Heh, I don't think they're that good, but I really appreciate your compliment nonetheless. Thanks a bunch :D.

Why thank you :). Well, birds are alright, I suppose. I just find that it's pretty easy to get close to a duck or goose, since they're all over the parks here. The only picture that I actually had difficulty with was that one of the dragonfly in the first post. For some reason my camera decided to make most of the pictures all blurry .

snuzi 04-01-2007 10:07 PM

I found some more. I took these in a park, near a river :p.

Jordan 04-02-2007 03:07 AM

Those trees are wonderful! Staten Island looks amazing! :) Great pics! ;)

Nah, that wasn't really hard, I was lucky. I was about to take a picture of the sea, I guess, and then I noticed this seagull flying over my head and I pointed the camera at it automatically (it kinda surprised me).

Thanks alot :D. Yeah, Staten Island is a pretty nice place to live. I certainly like it better than when I lived in Brooklyn. That place was a dump :p.

Lucky :p. That kinda stuff hardly ever happens to me. I usually have to seek out the animals I want to take pictures of.

Heh, the second one reminded me of Eden.
You park must be pretty cool.

Jordan 04-02-2007 10:05 AM

I had a go at a sunset myself. The Sun is in just the right place for me to take it. Here it is:

moxco 04-02-2007 10:28 AM

Nice job Jordan. The setting of the sun makes evering think go black which looks quite nice.

Snuzi, I love the first and the last one, how the suns reflection is over the lake.

Alf Shall Rise 04-02-2007 11:30 AM

Wow those pictures are great! I wish it was nice where I live. ;)

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you do :D. The park here is pretty nice. It just takes awhile to get to that particular spot I took those pictures, unfortunately. Although, it sure is worth it, in my opinion :).

Wow, great job, Jordan! The place you took it from looks perfect. It must give you a great view of the sunsets. Heh, you're quite lucky :p.

Thanks alot, MoxCo :D. That's precisely, what I wanted to capture, actually. I just wish that I didn't capture the glare in the pictures as well :p.

Thanks alot :). I'm sure it is. Jersey has some amazing sights itself. Cape May, for example, is one of the mose beautiful places I've been to.

Vykker Lady 04-02-2007 04:59 PM

wow those are awesome snuzi!!
i love the duckies XD

Arxryl 04-02-2007 06:44 PM

I like the sun effects on your picture Jordan! It must've hurt your eyes to take though.
