Arxryl's Sketchbook
Okay, so I've been toying around for a while about an art thread, and now I've decided I'd make one. :)
Now, it will contain trace amounts of Oddworld in it, but mostly it will consist of non-oddworld art (hence why I put it in Non-Oddworld Art and Literature). Like it or not I am going to post every picture in my sketchbook here, and maybe if your lucky, some other pictures/animations. Maybe even some comics. Who knows? I do...but not yet. ;) And I'll post more than this later, but... Now, the first article of my sketchbook, the inside cover that is slowly ripping away from the rest of the book... Don't know why. Maybe it wishes to have freedom or something. Note: I didn't write "Lily Tucker" on it. Someone else did. I wrote "Larry Tucker" on it however... |

Thank you for all your kind comments. I'd update with a few more pics from my sketchbook, but seeing as I am at a loss of that (I left it at my grandma's on accident :P) I'll just put on some of my computer works.
1. Traveler's Chronicle Artwork (His head is a little off I know, but this is an early work with painting a sketched picture.) 2. Arxryl CoM styled Sprites (These were edited from various sprites in the game Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Also, not all the sprites on the page are mine. Some of them are others', I just use them for my sprite edits and such.) 3.Arxryl Animation (I used the CoM sprites to make this animation. It was an early anim., and not very deep, but it was just practice after all.) Ta-Da! I'll add more later, but for now... And if anything can be improved on, please tell me! |

Meh... I'm too lazy to go and get my sketchbook right now, so I'll go ahead and post some other random stuff I've made. ;)
I'll try and scan some images tomorrow. Or the next day. 1. Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye (I drew this after visiting Disneyland recently. They have a ride there that I based this picture off of. It is a really cool ride, and one of my favorites.) 2. Audrey 2 Sprite page (I made this sprite page a while ago, and this is what is currently in my avatar. The special version of it is up in the top corner, and that specific sprite is the one I used for my AVA.) 3.Audrey 2 GIF animation (animation using my sprites.) 4.Audrey GIF numbah' 2 5.And one more animation. (I frequently use these for emoticons on MSN messenger.) |
Wow, all of your stuff looks awesome, dude! I especially like the animations. How did you create the sprites?, by the way? I've tried making my own in the past and have failed miserably :p.

And the Furries in the full color picture are not Mice. They are Wolf/Dog anthropomorphics. As for the Sprites, I edited a Petey Phirana Sprite from "Super Princess Peach" or somehting like that. And when I sya edited, I mean, edited very heavily. Like, you would not be able to tell wehre I edited it form unless you compared the two side by side. more art ___________________________ 1. Audrey "sad" face animation 2. Roxas and Arxryl fight scene They aren't fighting eachother, but they are fighting. I made this one later on in my experience as a gif animator, so as you could probably tell, it looks a bit better than others in the past. And thank you all so much! It feels nice to have my art liked. :) Again, sorry for the Sketchbook delays, I'll post a lot of the pictures from them soon, but...not right now. 3. Web comic I made this out of boredom, and I have more of them, but I'll wait until I post later to post the others... Enjoy! :) |

I just LOVE explaining things :)! Well, that cabbage thing looks a hell of a lot like the Piranhas from the Mario series. I'm guessing it's a sick, twisted, evil version of those Piranhas. And yes Snuzi, they do look like venous fly traps, but in Mario they are called Piranhas :p. [/explaining] |

Okay, sorry for the double post... but............ 1. Element fighter: He has fire on his hand, and lightning in the other, does anyone really want to get in a fight with him? 2. Industirals vs. some natives: Yeah... probably one of the best pictures I have drawn of a Mudokon... Other than that color one I did of Abe a while back but... can't find it. anyways.... 3. Clash: Two nearly unknown souls in the midst of a showdown, ready to fihgt to the death if need be... (Five points to who can guess what the warrior's blade has on the tip of it... ;)) |
