My Nightmare on Elm Street!

Okay you guys, I said I probably wasn't going to post another thread in the off-topic section, due to the 'Tell me your favorites' disaster. But, this was just too good not to tell you.

We live in a small town in Tennessee. It seems to be growing more and more each year though. Well ,lemme tell ya, nothing like this has ever happened here before.

We just had a total (and I mean total) crazy person move in on the corner of Elm Street and Oak. She has coke bottles in her front yard (along with lots of other types of tacky trash) , she wears bra's on her knees and underware on her head, she has written all over her house with crayon. She steals peoples stuff out of their yards (without their permission) and talks to herself out loud! She lives only a few blocks away from my house too! Is that creepy or what?

I'll keep ya posted on the other weird, crazy, insane stuff she does. My fam and I drive by her house each day, just for entertainment!

snuzi 03-29-2007 12:26 PM

So, what exactly is this thread about? Odd people in general, or just this obviously disturbed person that lives in your neighborhood?

Jordan 03-29-2007 02:13 PM

Heh heh! I love the Nightmare on Elm Street series! :) This woman sounds freaky, I'd love to hear more about her. This'll be funny! :D

Alf Shall Rise 03-29-2007 02:18 PM

Well, I have a story of my own about Freddy Cougar (since we're kinda talking about Elm Street hear and crazy people and things.) You see, the series is about Freddy killing you in dreams - in this case nightmares - and I happened to have this dream where Freddy was after me. Yup, good thing I didn't die, or that would be freaky...I wouldn't be posting this post right now. :D

Disaster? Aw come on. It was a huge hit. My favourite thread for a week.

As to the rest of your post, I think that absolutely sucks, living close to a crazy person. There’s no sciency somehting-phobia word for this, but I have a fear of crazy people (and mentally slow people). If she really does the things she does I believe she should be put away in an asylum. Hmph. :fuzconf:

Patrick Vykkers 03-29-2007 09:48 PM

I suppose that would be psychophobia and retardophobia.

I believe that the mentally absent must be mainstreamed and not be locked up. They are mental, but they do have feelings.

Also, if you don't like mental people, stay far, far away from Ossett. My cousin Trudy has Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome).

As for the topic, I say the woman is either trying to purposely attract attention, or she really is a nutcase. I think it would be best if she temporarily was locked up - I emphasise the word 'temporarily' - then mainstreamed. Then she should just be down to the level of moderate to her problem. It really sounds as if her problem is severe.

Jordan 03-29-2007 10:43 PM

It'd really make an effect if she had cats, and if she talked in a crazy blabble.

Nate 03-30-2007 12:18 AM

Sounds like some great performance art there.

moxco 03-30-2007 01:23 AM

Is she Emo?

This thread is to be all about the 'true nut-case' living in my small town. She does freaky things everyday that people need to hear about, just to make em' LOL!

alf_shall_rise,your dream sounds really scary! Those movies used to creep me out sooo bad!I was afraid to go to sleep! In the first movie,Johnny Depp  plays Glen,Nancy's boyfriend. He gets killed by 'you know who' though.:crying:

Jordan_Boi,she DOES talk to herself. One day,(and we learned this from our friend, who's father lives next door to the nightmare)that woman had chocolate smeared all over her face and said she was getting a 'facial'!Our friend,Connie,(whom we learned the most about the crazy lady from) sometimes stays with her father because he has altimerz(or however you wanna spell it). While Connie was sitting on her dad's porch, the wakco woman came over to Connie with a grapefruit in one hand along with a bowl of water, among other weird things. And,very seriously said,"Do you know what this is?" as she held the grape fruit up in the air.Connie said she thought,"Oh,great. This is a trick question!" but said,"Umm,I believe it's a grape fruit isn't it?" The woman replied in a proper voice saying,"No.It's how to do a facial." and with that, dunked the grape fruit into the water bowl and started patting it on her face.Connie just looked at her funny and said,"Uh huh.",trying to sound amused!

Oh,and she is without doubt really and truly mental, otherwise, she wouldn't be doing what she's doing and saying what she's saying.I mean, one day,she even ran up and down Elm and Oak with nothing but a curtain on!She was flapping it up and down like she was pretending to fly or something!I don't know aht Emo is,but she is definitley...out there...

Alf Shall Rise 03-30-2007 06:49 PM

Jeez, and this woman gets away with this? The police should do something, running around with just a curtain on isn't that legal when I last checked :D. Report this, I doubt seeing a weird thing everyday is comfortable.

Jordan 03-31-2007 02:30 AM

Ah ha ha!! What a freak! Imagine going up to someone and saying:
"Would you like a Grapefruit facial?" Awesome stuff here Hammy! :D

IloveHammy! 03-31-2007 04:18 PM

The police have tryed to do something about her, but so far, nothing has worked. You see, this guy named Chazz brought her down here from Illinois(spelling?) .He lives just a few houses down from her, but he is selling drugs so, I'm sure she's the least of his concerns. Shame isn't it? She has been in a mental hospital about 6 different times already. But, she used to be normal. She was a stained glass artist, was married and had like, 3 kids. When she started going nuts though, her husband put her in an institute. Her family got her out later because she didn't like it there. Chazz has been putting medicen in her food (hopfully not drugs!) to get her to sleep, because she never does. But,crazy lady(also called Denise Arpan) found out and started feeding her food to the neighbors dog, Jawbreaker! We drove by one day and saw that dog laying upside down next to the road! I hope she doesn't kill him! Poor thing.I got more to tell you about, but I'll save it for later. :fuzwink:

Daxter King 03-31-2007 04:44 PM

Damn, she needs to be locked up. Crazy bitch. I feel sorry for the dog, and can only imagine how hard it would feel to know your mom or wife went loony.

skillya_glowi 03-31-2007 06:39 PM

Oh, Jesus. Seriously. You need to report her to somewhere...crazy people are most often dangerous...
OT: Your avatar is fucking creepy....

IloveHammy! 03-31-2007 06:57 PM

I feel sorry for her though. She can't help it.

snuzi 03-31-2007 07:36 PM

Nonetheless, they should put her away, in my opinion. She could become a threat to the people who live around her, if she isn't treated for the way she acts.

Let's not exaggerate or anything... I mean 10% of the population have some sort of mental issues but they certainly aren't all dangerous.

OddjobAbe 04-01-2007 12:28 AM

I agree with Nate. Most mental people aren't dangerous. My cousin Trudy has moderate Trisomy 21, and she's not dangerous.

I agree with the two of you. She does steal stuff from other people, but I don't really think she is a big threat. She is a big laugh though!

Jordan 04-01-2007 07:47 AM

That poor dog. She needs help, I feel kinda sorry for her. If someone helped her, I expect she'd get through this someday.

OANST 04-01-2007 10:50 AM

Soooooooo............you freaked out because people were using words that you don't approve of in some thread you created and now you've started a thread in which you discuss all the ways that you mock and humiliate an unfortunate person with a mental illness. I just love it when you post. You're awesome.

toxicity 04-01-2007 12:52 PM

I had a crazy guy on my neighborhood once. He ate cereal all day and ran aroung the house in his underwear.

Oh wait, thats me.

snuzi 04-01-2007 12:54 PM

lololololololzzz!!!!11

Hysterical. Really.

Statikk HDM 04-03-2007 07:23 AM

Excuse me, but did someone type Freddie Cougar?
Its Krueger, get it right or pay the price!
Freddie Cougar sounds like a tomboy chick in her late 30s cruising for a stud in a restaurant-bar.
Man, that is a shame. She probably shouldn't be with the general population if she behaves like this. Try to get her help.

I suffer from a debilitating mental illness myself (and no, the PC whitewashing of it is complete horsedung), but this thread doesn't offend me.

OANST 04-04-2007 07:57 PM

Neither does it offend me. I just like to point out hypocrisy.

IloveHammy! 04-07-2007 01:39 PM

I almost forgot to tell you that right after the facial, Denise asked Connie, just out of the blue, "Whats your favorite butterfly?" Connie said, "Um,Monarch?" Denise replied, "Oh,I love Monarchs!" But, this guy standing next to Connie said, "Well, I like yella ones" Denise sorta snarled and said, "Yellow ones?!" then turns to Connie and says, "He knows nothing!"
Then, she turns back to the guy and asks, "What are you gonna do?" he says, "Oh, I don't know. What are you gonna do?" Denise said, "I asked YOU the question!"
