flOw and LittleBigPlanet
These two games have been my obsession for the past couple of weeks.
flOw is some grad student's thesis about how important 'flow' is in video games (McDuh). It's this ultra atmospheric, relaxing kinda independent game where you just eat a bunch of sea creatures and swim around. It's tres beautiful in terms of both design and graphics. Here's some PS3 vids, along with the PC version. Mmm-mmmm. And I am absouletly in love with LittleBigPlanet. WOW! Make your (completely interactive) environment, play through it, and share it online. Plus, it's so fucking pretty! And seemingly easy to handle. It's for these reasons that: 1) I want a PS3. and 2) I am a nerd. |
Never seen flow in action. Heard its only a distraction much like Geo Wars.
As for Little BigPlanet.......it has potential. I'll give it that. It just seems like anyone can over complicate controlling the stuff in the world. For instance they can keep pausing the game and adding things. It might eventually lead to you barely playing because you keep modifying things... |
Just download flOw, mang.

LittleBigPlanet looks awesome. Too bad I'll never concede to buy a PS3.

I heard there was a flash or computer version of fLOw around, as it's the only one PS3 game that interested me. First thing I thought when I saw it was "That's so electroplankton.".
Littlebigplanet looks most interesting. I love you Kimon. But... I am the lizard queen! |
LittleBigPlanet rocks all of my articles of clothing, and I desperately want it. I am slightly tempted to purchase a PS3 to play it, but that will only happen a long way down the line.

played Flow on the PC...nothing like Geometry wars...including this, Home, and LittleBigPlanet...Those are the only reasons I'll get a PS3...The only thing stopping me is lack of funds.
