Pictures... um... five? I think that's where I got to without looking...
 

Just a couple of doodles I managed to do over christmas... There is a third one I finished, but the disk won't upload it, for some reason...

Anyway. Here is "Dan" - was meant as a semi-serious picture of a Shaggy Polar elum in winter coat, but looked so hippy-like I couldn't resist calling it "Dan"...


And this one is kind-of loosely called "Hunter" as it looked a bit like BD's character... but that's it. I was trying to do one of Yaaren, but it looked too bulky and so I fiddled it a bit, and voila...


I'll see if I can get the fish-drakk to save to disk properly at some point...

And here's the other picture, the one what wouldn't upload the other day. It's my take on Rach's aquatic drakk species - rather more finny than her version, but hey. Maybe it's a tropical subspecies. Or maybe this one's male, being gaudy to attract a mate. Or maybe (and here's a likely possibility) I was just bored. Anyway, I'm quite pleased with how he turned out.


And what the hey. This is for the title page of my site (yes, I'm finally getting round to doing that, it's only taken me about four months). The three individual forms of the merf - I kind of messed up on my vulpine side, made it rather too catlike. And the dragonish thing in the back is my very first online personna, "Goldraven", who was a salix, which is an alien dragon-resembling species, roughly German-shepherd-sized, and can fly and communicate telepathically but that's about it. And no, I didn't think up the cool effect with the corrugated cardboard, I saw it on another site and thought "wow, I have to try that..."

That aqua-Drakkic is cute, but that cardboard thingy looks really really good!

Lovely piccies! I must get round to updating my site as well; the 'bog off, I'm revamping' splash page has been there for aeons.

Great...I love the colors of your pics...I would give my right kidney for pencils like that...

Pardon the strangeness of this picture, it didn't scan as well as I hoped and then PI ate it.
This is Slate - it's meant to look like he was stepping out of a portal, but that didn't scan. And you can't see what's going on very well as I actually did it like an animation cel - traced the picture onto Overhead-projector acetate and then painted it in acrylics... It took me three attempts to get it to look halfway-decent. The background DID have a kind-of portal-effect going on (hence his lack of hind-leg) But my scanner said "Pastel? Puh-lease, I do have SOME standards" and refused to scan it... oh well. Enough pixelling, here we go.
