Mudokon colors
 

I can't believe that I didn't notice this until now, but why is it that Abe is blue and all other mudokons are grey (blind ones from AE) or green (general color of AO, AE, and MO)?

way I see it is, Abes that colour to stand out from the rest so u dont get lost in a load of muds, Green Muds are natural mud colour and finaly blind muds are grey because there in a mine with no sunlight.

Abe is blue because in my theory, those who are overwhelmed with Mudokon shaman powers, start to change from shades of green, into a more blue-ish color. It could also be that Abe is blue due to the fact that he had been exposed to the truth and can no longer be fully happy to return into a green color. Either one might work.

The programing reason was so Abe could stand out on the screen.

O okay, I think I get it. Another question that I have is that, in SW, why did they jump from mudokons to whatever Stranger is?

Because they wanted to show more of Oddworld than just the Mudokon side, which we have already seen.
Or perhaps they were just trigger happy.

This should be in Q&A! I heard Abe is blue because he's the chosen one.
The reason OWI jumped from the Muds to Stranger is because they want to show more than just that area of Oddworld, and they expand it to the desert-like area.

Well, I read that Mudokuns change colour according to their mood. And Blue is the colour of mild anxiety for Mudokuns. But this is just what I've read. I don't know if it's correct or not. So I could be wrong.
