I've been thinking...should I make a site of Oddworld? With my own forum?

I don't know if a forum will be necessary, but creating an information site is a great idea :D

I second that. Seeing as how the official Oddworld site is currently inactive, I think it'd be a good idea to have one online that we could all access.

It's not offline, it just has a "new" front page. You can still access the rest of it.

There's no point making a 2nd forum, this 1 Oddworld forum is more than enough,since there's next to no Oddworld fans left, sadly. But then again ,a 2nd Oddworld forum might increase activity, as it'd mean there's more hits on internet searches. But overall I'd say a forum isn't worth it, and unless the site is purely fanstuff/creative, it's pointless, since there's been no news on Oddworld for roughly a year. Unfortunately.

We already have all of these kinds of sites.

I say go for an informational site. I mean, there aren't too many people that'd post in the forum, (believe me, I've seen forums die quickly) and we've already got TOL, but if you really want to make an oddworld web-something, then go for a website.

I actually thought about doing this. It's a long term thing, as I currently have no idea how to make websites. An information site would be awesome if it were a flash website (with a non-flash version for those who are incapable). It would make it look nice and pretty, with ambient sounds and all that. Background changing when you choose which part of Oddworld to explore.

I'm probably dreaming. But it would be awesome none the less.

No need for a forum, we already have this lovely place.
A fansite is an excelent way to show some support to OWI, go for it :)

Not bad, for a start! Very nice touches of humour :D
Just yeah, update the graphics a tad, the maple-leaf pattern doesn't really leave much to the imagination. I recommend using Photoshop to create cool banners and Microsoft FrontPage to stich the website together. It's what I used, except in my day I was horrible with Photoshop and my banners came out looking something next to shit...I fixed them already, but the update's a looong while away...

Shoot. I drifted off again. So yeah, I was saying, the only thing I could criticize was the layout. Keep up the good work, and don't abandon it, or I'll be very sad.
