Stargate Worlds

I recently became aware of a new MMORPG based on the famous Stargate universe. It's called Stargate Worlds and is currently in development. Not much info is available yet but from what I have read it will be quite awsome. Will definatly give it a try when it's released :D.

Last thing I heard about it (and this was at least a few months ago) it was postponed indefinately. Which, as we all know in the gaming world, almost always means cancelled.

After a quick check of Wikipedia it looks like it hasn't been cancelled or postponed. It's possible that I'm going insane.

Ooh, I remember some episode of the dutch game-show Gamekings, in which they were flashing back to some show, while answering questions like, What's the best game from the last year, best this best that, what did you loke most of **********-show (E3, and other game-expos).

One answered he liked the booth-babes, and the next clip was one of 2 girls walking around in egyptian-esque/dominatrix-esque clothes, while carrying a staff of some sort. I instantly recognised the staff the Jaffa use :) I was like Whohoo! Since I'm a big fan of Stargate. Nice to know it was real.

Well the issue on that website isn't to old if I'm not mistaking, so maybe they got it back on track somehow.

I randomly heard about this just yesterday, whereupon I commenced a series of joyous yelps. Stargate Worlds is the first MMORPG I have any interest in; it is also one of a very select few games I have any interest in. Its forthcoming existence now has the honour of being the turning point in my indecision over the purchasing of sufficient computer technology to play the current generation of games.
