AO demo problem
 

I downloaded the Abe's Oddysee demo from the Oddworld website recently. On the demo, when you pass through the door that is next to the first exposed (none-secret) bird portal, if you walk through a gate, the electricity turns on, and kills a mudokon. Can I somehow prevent this from happening?

ye you just say hi,follow me before walking to far and setting off the lightning bolt.

This OBVIOUSLY needs to go in Oddworld Help.

This is in Oddworld help, unless I've lost track of my posting. Also, today, I avoided this by jumping over the gate. Don't know if it was a glitch or an alternative solution. I honestly don't know why I didn't think of what you said.

Ah, I notice that it was in the off topic discussion. Damn. I must have lost track of where I was. I thought I was in Oddworld Help. Damn, I'm starting to write brief again.
