AO Cheat Code
 

I hope this is in the right topic, I think it is though. Anyway, when I entered the cheat code invincibility in AO (circle, triangle, square, X, down, down, down, circle, triangle, square, X), it didnt work. Is there a mistake of some sort? Or do I have the wrong buttons?

There is no Invinsibility Cheat for Abe's Oddysee, Thats your problem solved.

Did you see this on one of those really cheap cheat sites?
This code is for AE and it's slightly different to that.

There are no cheats for AO, only for AE. Guess you're just gonna have to beat the game without them.

Um...there are some cheat codes for it. And I saw it in a cheat code book...I already beat Abe's Oddysee, though, I just like doing the game all over with cheat codes for some reason lol.

There's actually no point in the existing AO cheat codes, they only serve a fun purpose, they never really helped me. The green fart code does nothing. I used the Level Select code to replay levels I liked, and the whistle code is just stupid, if you use that code, it ruins most of the monsaic lines.

Yes, actually there are cheats for AO. Look in the thread ODDWORLD CHEATS made by clown in this Zulag of ODDWORLD HELP. I've posted there a cheat for farting green gas. It won't help much in the game, but it's fun to do.

Um, I didn't say there weren't any... :rolleyes: I was just saying that they're pointless. Read CAREFULLY next time.

I remember when I was a kid always trying to do that green gas fart joke.

No, I said there weren't any. Well, I guess I'm wrong there. But I know there are no invicibility cheats or ones like that. So, yeah, the ones there are kind of pointless.

The invincibility cheat for AO is identical to the AE one, except there's an extra down or something in the ones I find. Plus, the AE one actually works.

I'm sick of these friggin' cheat sites spreading the rumor that there is an AO invincibility code. There ISN'T! Besides, it would ruin the whole challenge of it, and players would fly through. Aren't there some Gameshark codes for it as well? They don't work either. Well, not for me.

Invisibility code is very useful to experienced players who want to quickly reach some point in the middle of a level to see a background or story stone. I use it a lot (sadly not for AO).

Meh. I never thought of that idea. I used to use it on AE when I was younger. I thought AE would be way too hard to beat without codes, and at the start of last year I did the whole game without it. I only had to use it once, on the last level where I ran out of time and the gas leaked. I JUST got to the end, so I used the code! :p

I only use cheat codes when I finish a game...thats why I wanted to know. =/

To Select a level press, at main menu, Hold R1 down right left right square circle square triangle circle square right left.
