Looks to me they just interviewed random people. Sure they might have put the funniest ones in the clip but still :P. We have stupid people here too but ask them where France is and they won't put a flag pin on ****ing Australia... Let alone a country that doesn't exist in the first place...

I'm not saying they didn't interview random people, I'm saying they're miss-representing the whole of America. I mean, I bet they didn't even leave the same city. And I'm not saying it's hard to find a city filled with idiots in America that's filled with idiots, it's quite the opposite.

Actually I think this was filmed in Texas... confirming a lot stereotypes for Texas. But I don't think you would get other results if you went to other cities actually

In regards to the video, "misrepresentation" and "demagoguery" are some of the terms that would come to mind. Because compiling 9 minutes of interview clips is the best way to accurately represent a populous.

At least we are not a wasteful country. Cause, you know, if we were we would pretty much suck all around.

What Havok fails to realize is that the vast majority of the population of earth is stupid. Using a sketch show as an example of truth is just one of many indications that he is one of these people as well. I mean, Christ. He thinks that the nation that is responsible for a very large percentage of the world's technological advancements is made up almost entirely of imbeciles. That strikes me as stupid.

Holy cow... That's just sad. Well, this just proves my idea that there are dumber people out there than myself.

And I understand where you are coming from Havoc, about the "people with a Texas accent" thing. People here think that people in Britain all talk funny. No offence, it's just some people around here do.

But this still surprizes me how completely stupid some people are. But as OANST said, stupid people make up roughly 70% of the total population of Earth. (Not a proven fact...Yet...)

I don't think we're stupid. There's got to be dumb people everywhere. I remember I saw some special on GSN showing british people giving the stupidest answers on game shows. I also think some people get nervous when randomly interviewed so will probably give a stupid answer. But the video is funny. Some of those questions are so obvious, though admittedly I don't know some of them.

So that's what I think. The video doesn't really prove any point, but seems mostly for comedic purposes.

Well, of course we're Stupid! You just found this out I little while a go. I mean the evidence that I'm, and my fellow Citizens of the United States (which aren't that united if you ask me) are stupid is overwhelming. I even had about 30 typos in this, and still probably have at least 5. (Though admittedly there are ALOT of stupid people in the world.)

No, I'm not saying all of America is, but those people certainly were. Particularly the placing of the pin in Australia, that topped it off.

And the video was about "Why people believe Americans are stupid" not "All Americans are stupid."
