1 year of no labor being applied

Yeah, well, January 29 marks the day I registered onto the forums. It has been one year since I joined the forums. I just want to say thank you for all you. This forum helped me realize a little more about what Oddworld and Earth is about. I feel like I had grown up little more because of you guys. I now know of the term emo, what a fun spoiler I was, and how to spell words more correctly. MM and Patrick Vykkers had taught me some good medication knowledge, Splat told when things are necessary to be said, and OANST taught me how to take a joke. And then Used:) told me that my life is actually a fairly good one and I shouldn't consider my life horrible. Max, Xavier, and Nate_dog_woof taught me some pretty cool facts about Oddworld, while Zerox became a good sensible, understandable friend of mine. I actually also used this place a timeline for me. I check what I had been saying in the past and now feel like I sure have improved. Or at least I hoped so. I also learned that I can make a difference as well, from E'l Scrabino and Fred.

Ambi had also helped me get a better grip at understanding the forums and made me learn that having to see people is probably one of the best things for me. If I can't look at people, I can say to myself what I do know of them is their personality. That really makes me think of something.

There is so many more people to thank, but remember kids, this isn't a goodbye thread! It's an annual event! So ya, if I forgot anybody, thanks for helping me. I needed it. So ya, say what ya want say. Um, that concludes my presentation? (don't know what to say really)

Wow, you've been here a year, quite an achievement, I say! Well done for withstanding some of the n00bs' spamminess!
I've also been here a year, so I'd like to thank all the people who've been friendly to me!
And I'd also like to announce... My 1000th post! ;) Thanks for everything guys! :)

You forgot about me teaching you about biological taxonomy. Now there's a life skill if I ever saw one.

Slaveless 01-29-2007 12:02 PM

Dang it! It was in my head when I was writing it, but somehow I never got to write it! Strange me, I should really check my work after writing it! Sorry about that. So yeah, BM helped me understand stories, RPGs, and taxomonic keying.

I'm surprised that Jordan_Boi had caught up to me actually. I have six more posts than him. Which, by the end of this day, he will have more.

Sixty-six...

It's been great having you for a year, Slaveless. You are and have always been a very active, and contributing person to this community, so I think it is us who should be saying thanks.
Congrats, by the way. How does it feel?

Hurrah! Congratulations.

Actually, I don't really care but I just love being mentioned in other people's posts.:p

To be honest, you're really one of the most mature, sensible little guys I've ever known in some way. You will be a great human being :).

And to answer your mention of me telling how your life isn't bad, I will quote Buddha. "You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection."

Thank you very much Used. That is really nice thing you said to me, for it made me think of something for a while. I wish I could return the favor somehow.

Cullen, I feel like as if I am growing to be part of the forums in a nice way. I am thankful for being on the forum for so long and I wish to see other people grow, the same way others did with me.

MM and Patrick Vykkers had taught me some good medication knowledge,

Yeah, you better thank me, bitch. ;)

In seriousness, happy arrival-anniversary Slaveless! It's hard to believe its been a year. (Well, for me it hasn't been a year- (I've only known you 6 months since I was gone the first 1/2 of 06). You've been a real good RP'er, the moment I met you I could tell you were more sensible and mature than most people who've been around for only a few months. It seems you've enjoyed and contributed with the Oddworld and Off-Topic discussions too, which is always good. You've become a very integral member in some areas of the forum, and are one of the most active in general. If this sounds like a school report it's most likely because I got mine this week. :)
I find it hard to believe it's 2 years since I first registered. Time goes so much faster nowadays.

Good job on staying! Now go buy us some cookies!...What? That's rude? Okay, I'll go buy the cookies...

Anyways, It's really great that you have enjoyed yourself here for over a year now! Hope you continue to enjoy the small, sometimes neglected, forum part of life.

Splat told when things are necessary to be said

I did?
Meh, I guess I'll take you word for it :p

Happy OWF day to you! (OWF day, I'm such a genius!)
Hope you have many more. I can say your RPing has definately improved since you joined our merry band.
I can't think of anything else to say really.

Uh...

JOIN THE BIKINI FOR HAVOC CAMPAIGN TODAY!

Slaveless 02-10-2007 05:43 AM

Thanks guys. I really love the nice things you guys have been saying. All the more encouragement to stay here. I really wish I could repay you all somehow. (I will just pay the tip for Arxryl's cookies.)

Now I shall join that bikini for Havoc thing. Maybe there I could see a tiger in a swimsuit at last!
