A bit of MO Help Needed.
Ok, So I am at the part where you return to Vykkers Lab, after you make LuLu a GlockStar (Love the awesome Clothes.) But anyway, I am inside and pretty much stuck at this point. The farthest I've gotten was where the metal Vykkers are with Abe... The ones with those Machette looking things, and with Munch, I can get through the water and to that part where you can open the gate to let Abe through with Munch, But I am not sure how to do this... and what I need to do afterwards...
I think I somehow need to raise the water level up alot, so I can get the water bounce, then use munch to operate that crane at the begining to transport the eggs. But how do I raise the water level? I saw some levers high up in a structure, near a boiler looking thing, but it's crowded with alot of people... |
Okay, in that room with all the metal plated vyykers and Interns, you get the water bounce and jump up onto the top. Make sure that abe is somewhere near the egg thing at the begining of the level. (just in-case Munch dies...)
Get the shock drink from the same area as you get the water bounce and then go up and shock the vyykers and interns into the water, or until their health runs down all the way. Munch will probably die in this process, but if you keep it up, you can kill all of them. Then go and get Abe into that room via some weird way I can't remember. Thenn rescue the two Muds and then have Abe and Munch pull the two levers that are in the room with the Vyykers. Then the water level should rise, killing all of the interns and vyykers and allowing you to control the crane to put the egg crates into the chute. I hope that helps at all. |
You can do it that way, but what I do seems easier to me, it's up to you. Just see how you like to do the process.
What I do is get all of the vendos with Munch and then jump up and Zap as many characters as I can until my health is low. Then jump down and re-heal with some B-Betterz. This way you don't have to go back and forth every time Munch dies. You just have to Quicksave very often so that if he does die you can go back. |
Oh gawd, that area took be AGES, it got pretty boring after a while, but it is possible to do it Cullen and Arxryl's ways!
|
Cullen definitely has the easier way. I just was never quick enough to jump down and heal myself when the vyykers and whatnot attacked.
|
I could never get the hang of using Munch to clear that area. With all those Snuzis and Lil’ Hackers, he never lasted long. What I always found easier was possessing an Intern and shooting all the creeps in that room. Never fails for me, plus it minimises the QuikSaving and re‐hatching of Munch, which always have an air of cheating about them, IMHO.
|
Hmm, I never thought about that.
Only one problem... where do you stand so that you can possess? And true, they are very similar to cheating. |
(Thanks for Moving This.)
I think he means that room where you're on the ledge and there are some computer screens and stuff below, and the metal vykker looking guys with Machetes. You can posses them on the ledge, or you can just stand on the computer thingies. But I am mainly having the part with munch issues. I figured I could just do what he said, Zap a few, jump down, heal, zap a few jump down and quick save now and then to reduce having to start all the way over... Mostly during my whole gaming time, I just possessed everyone and made them attack their team mates... or just explode. (Thank God for Revivable Spooce) |
If you need any help try this walkthrough.

There’s a ledge in that room. I know you know where it is, because there’s a Mudokon up there. Not the one suspended above the water.
|
I haven't seen any Muds, But also, I haven't been looking. They sometimes tend to blend in with the concrete floors. I hope I am not too close to the ending. I don't want it to end yet!
|
With all those egg crates to load into the chute, you’re nowhere near the end (although in seriousness, you are).
In the suspended room you can empty using Munch on Zap, there’s a Bounce vendo; right next to it is a ledge you can get to by jumping. There’s a Mud up there, and it’s safe to chant from. I recommend using two Spooce, as it leaves you enough for a second attempt. Just be careful not to open the bird portal accidentally. |
Thanks you guys. I missed one of the muds though. I found him, but I had already raised the water level, and I couldn't get a bounce vend.
I did all of that, and got the bad ending, I saved 111 out of 199. (I did miss a few Muds and alot of fuzzles.) But I restarted and am back at paramite run. I am doing alot better. I actually saved 6 out of 6 on one level... How many saves do you need to get the good ending and save more eggs? |
I think it's something like 150, right...? Just quiksave occasionally, and when a fuzzle/mud dies, keep loading, and you should be fine, it's pretty annoying though when fuzzles are fighting enemies, sometimes you don't know if they die or not...

I have no need for the walkthrough now. I know I was slacking on rescuing them. I saw on one level I missed a LOAD of fuzzles, but didn't remember seeing any. and on some scrubs I just took what I needed.
If I try again, I know I can get the good ending and continue on. |

In the room with the armoured Vykkers and armoured interns, use Munch to kill everything in there (not the fuzzles obviously). Then get Abe in the room with Munch. Then have Abe and Munch go into the middle of the room (the small steel canopy in which the Vykkers and interns were. Then there are two levers. As Munch pulls one, quickly switch to Abe to pull the other (or vice versa). Then the water level will have risen. Then everyone but you and the labour eggs will drown. Then use the aquabounce to get to the remote control port with Munch and free the labour eggs. Then, use the crane to get where Munch is, and stand on the teleport. Then, you'll get a message from the shaman. A good one if you have good quarma, a bad one if you have bad quarma. You can ask me anything about Munch's Odddysee, because I've freed everyone in it (I'm no bragger, just thought I'd say). :
(I love the music track for the level, though). Also watch out that the Vykkers and interns don't kill thew fuzzles (they do that sometimes). Sorry that I've done too many posts. |
 A SEXTUPLE POST!! Use the edit button already! I've never seen anything like it! :p Nice info you've got there though, it's pretty accurate!
|
Wow. Ouch. Definitely use the edit button in the future, please, OddjobAbe. :p
|
That's fine Oddjob. I'll be looking back at this thread if I need help again, I hate redoing the game though, especially ones where you need certain amounts of Scrubs or Muds to use their chant to open doors...
