Aquadynamic
Has anyone else noticed that Munch dosen't look (at all) like he'd be able to swim...e.g. his head looks like it'd cut through water like a house...
how can he swim??? does he take his fuzzles when he goes swimming?  P.S. does he get an electric shock when he puts his head under water... |

I'd expect an aquatic creature to have fins of some sort, or maybe a "pump" muscle like those of the jellyfish and squid. I don't think his face really matters - hammerhead sharks seem to do okay on Earth - but those protruding jawbones look kinda delicate, and prone to injury. I imagine if natural selection took place on Oddworld, those jaws would eventually evolve into some more viable shape. On the other hand, it does give Munch a cheerful grin... |
Hmmm, you do appear to have a point. Munch's body isn't stream-lined at all, in fact, it's pretty much the opposite. Hmmmm...

I think Munch looks like a frog mixed with an allegator, I admit though his head is kinda mis-shapened (but thats Oddworld for ya).

freaky, i think with talked about this a while back...thats the almighty raisin or a vykker in the back and those thingies around him are baby gabbits...

We have discussed the creature in the back ages ago, its only a vykker. The raisens eyes are blue and small. Gabbits swim with their faces up, so they can see where they are swimming. this means that their sharp beak like mouths are used to cut through the water. Also their pwerful huge feets add to the propultion.

Its the Raisin, since wen did Vykkers have fur. And the baby Gabbits are from the jar of Gabbiar that is floating around sum where.

Munch's Feets are too small to swim, i think so, they are very thin....
but...it's really Oddworld and every creature have an own (odd) body...the great thing is that Munch can swim! i htink he looks like he could swim. i mean when you look at the pictures of gabbits they swim verticacly not horizontly and besides munch (accodrding to lorne lanning) uses water as if he were a jet ski not a submarine.

It IS the Raisin...OMG!!The Raisin has big yellow eyes. And i also believe Alf gave 3 different reasons for why Abe had his lips stitched up...so how can u believe wot he sayz now!!

My opinion: it's a Vykker
I never heard somebody officialy say wether it's a Vykker or The Almighty Raisin. But, it makes more sence to put Munch and a Vykker in the same pic, then Munch and the Raisin. Munch and Vykkers are the main good-and-bad-guys. Abe is more like the sidekick in this (Munch's) Oddysee. The Raisin will play a smaller role too, I think. It would make more sence too see Abe together with the Raisin. Still, I'm not sure for 100%, but we will be when we play the game. Oops, I forgot to answer the real question off this topic. Raisin is Munch's translater so in a way it does make sense 2 put Raisin and Munch 2gether!! Also if its a Vykker wheres the mouth? Raisin has a small mouth, Vykkers have big 1'z!

the whole picture is just a promotuon picture for OW, the little gabbits dont exist and the VYKKER!! in the background is just a symbol.
